“Everybody Must Have The Right Minds To Do Good
– Olusegun Adebayo”

Speaking as the guest lecturer at the Great
Achievers World 3rd Edition of Great Achievers lecturer and award
2018 at the Function Suite of Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos the
Publisher and Editor – in- Chief of PAM JOURNAL Olusegun Adebayo said that
everybody must have the right mindset to do good things all times adding that
evils do not pay but good application of good conducts all times yields good
and lasting dividends of progress and success. The lecture topic dwelled on:
Channeling Organizational and Individual Achievements into National Development:
The Challenges Adebayo the guest lecturer used several models to drive home his
scholarly lecturers to the recipients of the Great Achievers Awards of 2018,
other participants adding that in the year 1965 Nigeria had products which were
fantastic, but, again Adebayo told the audience that those fantastic products
had flown away the land scape of the economy policies.
He further told most business presorts would
always crave for by monies to start a business concern which he said when they
got these big monies that the nest thing they do is to buy big cars which he
frankly opined that the big cars were not necessary as one does not need two
much to float a business outfit.
He frankly posited that all organizations must
have the right objectives, employ the right employees, and frequently engage in
continuous training of employees which helps to grow in leaves and bounds. He
further stressed all the firms must the core values visions, mission that
actually programmatic and proactive in all sense of business, but, again
Adebayo did say that most firms do not have yearly budget to run the business
in the right path.
Adebayo further postulated that a lot of people
in life do not actually know what they really wish to do as they keep
procrastinating their planning. He did say that the firms must be very honest
to herself because honesty drives the fabrics of business, but, again he says
that a lot of persons preferred to cut corners in other to defraud their
clients and the government.
Adebayo postulated that no human being can say
that he or she is always right adding that apart from God Himself no human
being on earth is perfect and again Adebayo posited that somebody must lead the
team as there must be continuous planning as some of the shareholders are very
difficult to work with, but, he says with consistency of planning they could
work intandem with the aims, objectives, vision and mission of the organization.
He says that the poor and the rich need each
other at all times and people will be ready to follow the boss or the leader if
he or she is honest because people need each other as not everybody will be
super wealthy.
He again posited that a lot of people want
monies without labour adding that if someone sleeps from morning to evening
then something terrible is amiss.
He tells the participants that there must
crisis, stealing, boot legging, boot licking, praise singers in an organization,
but that the principal owner of the organization should be extremely prayerful
and diplomatic in handling such cases.
Adebayo tells the audience that there is
problem everywhere in the entire globe as there is mission and vision for all
and sundry to live a normal lifestyle.
Adebayo again shocked the audience with this
submission that monies are not needed to start a business but however what is
needed is the honest drive to do business as discipline and industry are needed
to drive businesses positively and productively.
He says that employees must be treated as part
of the organization adding that communications, team work, trainings,
leadership, Personnel policy must be excellent at all times.
Adebayo says that everybody must have skills
that someone else can buy from and again he posited that if one does not work;
such a person should not eat. The guest lecturer says that everybody must the
fear of God and one should remember whatever one does goes around with him or
her.
He again says people loose money easily and
that every nation state must have divine vision and mission adding that human
rights must be applied to all and sundry by the powers that be, and the nation
is bigger than everybody, the nation must protect the rights of citizenry.
The nation would remain forever, but,
individuals would go adding that the nation needs patriotic people to grow on
leaves and bound. The nation must provide basic infrastructure for the citizenry such as: good road networks, health care
delivering system, education, housing, communications, transport, rule of law, corporate
governance, press freedom, independent of judiciary e.t.c. Adebayo said that
elections must be free, credible and clean and that the dividends of democracy
must be provided for electorate.
The Great Achievers World gave out awards to nine
Nigerians who had affected the lives of the down trodden masses and the awardee
were as follows:

Olusegun Adebayo et’al. the audience were
entertained with a cultural dance display by Ekombi dancers. The chairman
of Achievers World Mr. Jonah Paul Iweka gladly
welcomed the audience to the 3rd edition of Achievers World
Media and gave thanks to God for His uncommon blessings toward the organization
adding that all the awardees were selected as result of their positive
contributions they had made in their various offices. Speaking as the Editor – In
– Chief of Achievers World Media Inemesit Ebu profusely commended the Chairman,
Board of Director Iweka for his administrative streaks which he displayed with
love and tact to all and sundry. She acknowledged Mr. Ray Ekpu as her mentor
and the very man who burnt her fingers at Newswatch magazine many years ago.
She openly acknowledged the staffers of
Achievers World for their uncommon duty bound they display at all times.
Speaking with Iconblaze Magazine Online Portal the Executive Chairman of Itu
LGA Hon. Onuk said that award, awarded to him by Achievers World Media would
largely goad him to provide more services for the peoples of his Local
Government Council adding that the awards is a testament that various persons
and institutions are watching their activities, hence he said that he would be mindful
of his carryings-on at all given times. He commended the management of Great
Achievers World Media for bestowing
the hononr on him. Again Hon. Onuk said that the award is dedicated to all
persons of his Local Government Area and Entire Akwa Iborn State.
