ORILE AGEGE INAUGURATES NEW IMAM: TO HOLD NEW YEAR
ANNIVERSARY BY 30TH JANUARY_Orelaru

The Orile Agege central mosque has inaugurated Alhaji
Nurudeen Sulaimon Oluwasesan Malowo as the new chief imam to lead the way in
the Orile Agege Islam.
The Imam was inaugurated during th
Speaking at the
ceremony, the Chairman planning committee, Alhaji Muritala Alagbe Oyebade said
the newly inducted imam worth’s being inaugurated as the imam for his humility
and contributions to the Islam religion in the community.
He emphasized that his knowledge and good characters towards
building the affairs of the community has mobilized the young and old ones to
the things of God.
He expressed his joy over the success of the Turbaning
ceremony and stated that it has been 18 years now that the ceremony of such has
held today which turned the 6th times they had another imam in the community.
He advised the youths in the community to learn from the
newly Imam good characters that foster unity among all without violence or
disunity so as to encourage more goodness to the next generation.
The Iyaloja General of Orile Agege, Chief Mrs. Bola Orelaru
commended the newly turbaned chief imam for his good works and prayed for such
future imam to emerge in the community. She however urged the youths in the
community to develop the habit of reading and writing well like the new chief
imam also contributing to the things of God and do away with the idea of being
a armed robbers and street urchins in order to be useful to God, the
environment and individuals.
Chief Mrs. Orelaru commended the Lagos state government
during her speech that in every of their request in Lagos state in general and
Agege that the government has been doing wonderfully well in the area of
Infrastructure also through the support of the Leaders in the area like the
Speaker for the Lagos state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, Hon.
yinka Ogundimu, Dr. Samuel Adejare and the Leaders of the All Progressive
Congress in Orile Agege to be honoured.
The Iyaloja General for the Orile Agege described her
unrelenting efforts to give their market a new face to encourage a fruitful way
of marketing development in buying and selling by doing her first project in
the Oja Oba Abule Egba market for the year 2020 in filling all the pot holes
around the market with the support of the Executive chairman of Orile Agege, Hon.
Johnson. She revealed that by January 30th this year 2020 the market
has scheduled to hold a New Year Anniversary that is tagged Oja Oba day
celebration to praise God for His gift of life and prosperity involving all.
