WE ARE FUNDAMENTALLY PREPARED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FORTH COMING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTION COMRADE OGBALOI

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline at Glad Tidings Outlet at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Oba Oguola Press Centre, Reservation Road, G.R.A., Benin City, Edo State the Edo State Labour Party Chairman Comrade Kelly Stephen Ogbaloi states that they are fundamentally prepared to participate in the forth coming of Edo State Local Government Election schedule to hold on January 25th 2023.

 

In his words “As I speak with you now the nomination and expression of interest forms are currently on sale to interested members of our party as we just did hold a meeting with the Edo State Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) Chairman, Hon. Justice James Oyomire and he has given us his words and assures us that all the political parties will be given a level playing ground by the Commission during the election”.


He noted that Labour Party is a party to beat in this very season. Speaking further Comrade Ogbaloi states that the forth coming Presidential election needs serious political party that has been involved in series of elections in the past, that as well as knows all the necessary measures to put in place to win election adding that all their party needed to do to win the general elections come 2023 has been perfected.

 

Speaking again, Comrade Ogbaloi states that sensitization is ongoing at the grassroot levels, knowing fully well that campaign has not been flagged off, though they are doing door to door family talks amongst their people so as to let them know that the old political leanings are gone and again they heavily need to face the present reality in the Republic by voting a competent and pragmatic candidate which His Excellency the former Governor of Anambra State Mr. Peter Obi represents come 2023 general elections.

 

Comrade Ogbaloi States their party is heavily aware that Mr. Obi needs the National Assembly at the Hallowed Chambers of States House of Assembly, at Green Chambers and Red Chambers to work with him adding that they are not going to leave him as an orphan, as he also added that they are equally mobilizing for all their National and State Assembly candidates to make them win their elections come 2023.

The Edo State Labour Party Chairman the amiable Comrade Ogbaloi stated that voters should not have any iota of fear of identifying the party logo during the election as adequate measures are being worked out so that there has to be heavy enlightenments during the campaign periods.

  

Speaking further the amiable Comrade Ogabloi states that those of All Progressives Congress (APC) appointed to man INEC Offices are appointed based on merit, but not to be an accessories in rigging elections in favour of APC.
