PRIMARY SCHOOLS BENEFITED FROM ASDEV 81 CLUB

Fourteen primary
schools have educationally benefited from Asaba Development 81 Club with over
5000 exercise books distributed to the pupils of these 14 primary schools. The
beneficiaries of this uncommon Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of ASDEV
81 Club are primary one pupils to primary six pupils.
The ASDEV 81 Club Asaba
branch, Delta State with her chairman Ogbueshi Tony Akaraiwe as the arrow head
led other distinguished members of the ASDEV 81 Club, Asaba chapter, Delta
State who came out in their best elements of noble appearances to magnanimously
joined their chairman Ogbueshi Akaraiwe in lovably gave out the exercise books
to pupils.
Speaking with journalists the chairman of Asaba branch, Delta state
ogbueshi Akaraiwe said that they did give God all the glory to have enabled
them to raise the resources needed to pursue the worthy cause of assisting
humanity with the distribution of exercise books to primary schools within
Asaba Metropolis. Speaking further with the press.
Ogbueshi Akaraiwe said that
what their club has done would serve as a wake up call to the present
administration of His Excellency Executive Governor of Delta State, Senator
(Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa to critically and objectively provide the much needed
dividends of democracy to all Deltans. Ogbueshi Akaraiwe said that other socio
cultural clubs should frankly emulate their outstanding magnanimity thereby
they too should affect mankind positively, effectively, efficiently,
objectively and uncommonly write their club names with the breast plate of
righteousness as they in Asaba Development 81 Club, Asaba Branch Delta State
had written hers in golden breast plate of righteousness. Ogbueshi Akaraiwe
doffed his cap for his scrupulously members who demonstrated their large hearts
as in raising the resources with which the exercise books are procured.
The
distribution of these exercise books consummated from Cable Point/Umuezei and
the club members visited Ogbe Olie Primary School 1, Ogbe Olie Primary School
11 and receiving the ASDEV 81 Club members, at the two Ogbe Olie primary school
1 & 11, the headmistress of Ogbe Olie primary school 1 Mrs. Okonkwo S.O. thanked
the members of ASDEV 81 Club for their matchless assistance rendered to the
pupils of her school. She prayed to God to continually be their helper at all
times. In the same vein, the headmistress Ogbe Olie primary school 11Mrs. Obote
J.E commended the lovable gestures the ASDEV 81 Club has displayed towards the
pupils of her school.
Speaking with journalists retired wing commander Iweze,
one time ASDEV 81 Club, Asaba chapter Delta State Chairman, said that he was a
pupil at Ogbe Olie primary school 11 in the year 1954. He further said that he
is really happy that he is alive to give back to his almamater that shaped and
formed him for whatever successes he has attained in his life. He noted that
the primary school he attended some six decades ago has not died as he says
that many primary schools that existed before had either died or the structures
are dilapidated and also he noted some good infrastructure all over the place.
The train moved to Oneh primary school 1 and Oneh primary school 11.
The two
headmistresses were extremely elated to receive the entourage of ASDEV 81 Club
in their schools with good mien, candour and carriage. They both thanked and
commended the kindnesses displayed to their pupils with the 60leaves exercise
books. They are Mrs. Akpoku Benedita Ekwi, headmistress Oneh primary school 1
while Mrs. Monyei Rose is the headmistress of Oneh primary school 11.
The noble
train of ASDEV 81 Club gloriously moved to Ahabam primary school and when the
carrier of good tidings arrived her destination the headmistress Okocha Stella
Nodu was exceedingly gladdened to receive the global changers of events of
positivism for humanity. Once again the noble train of uncommon application
moved to Asagba primary school and the headmistress was on ground to welcome
the goodnesses of God into their school, comrade Mary Ojeah and Vice Chairman
Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Asaba branch, Delta State thanked and
commended the good gestures of the ASDEV 81 Club.
Speaking further she said
that the gesture rendered to the pupils would spur the pupils to be serious
with their studies at all giving times and from Asagba primary school the
blessed train moved to Ahor primary school where the headmaster Emmanuel Akakwu
was on ground to welcome the members of ASDEV 81 Club of Asaba branch Delta State. He particularly praised
the ASDEV 81 Club for their outstanding contributions to the growth of
education in Delta State.
The following primary schools around
Umuayi/Umuonaje/Umuagu/Westend of Asaba are beneficiaries of the distribution of
60leaves note books. These primary schools are as follow:- Abu Ato primary
school 1 Abu Ato primary school 11, Abu Ato primary school 1, Abu Ato primary
school 11, Abu Ato primary school 111, Zappa primary school and finally the
last but not the least Uzorgwe primary school.
