Mr.
Ken Gwam has gloriously and celestially buried his dearly beloved mother Rose
Unoma Gwam, (Nee Odum) and also known as Nwaobi, Oyibo, Okparaka Eze in a grand
style. His beloved late mother Rose Unoma Gwam was four scores when she joined
her ancestors on the 12th of November, 2017. In celebrating late
Mama Gwam her Funeral Mass was celebrated at Pro Cathedral Catholic Church
Asaba, Delta State and at the celebration of her Funeral Mass the RT. Rev. MSGR
Stephen Uzoma, the parish priest gave uncommon homily in honour of late Rose
Unoma Gwam.
The reception took place at St. Bridges Catholic Church and the
members of Asaba Development 81 Club from Asaba, Portharcourt, Abuja etc. were
in a large number to share and shower love to Gwams because Ken Gwam is one of
them. Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline, the Honourable Commissioner of
Health, Delta State Dr. Nickolas Azinge said that late Mama Gwam was a special
breed of a human being who affected all and sundry that came her ways
positively. The Honourable Commissioner of Health Dr. Azinge described late
Mama Gwam as a good, sweet mother who showered her love to people around her while
she was alive.
Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Ogbueshi Peter Ejiofor, a
member of ASDEV 81 Club, Portharcourt, and Rivers State wished Ken Gwam his
good friend and the entire family to take heart and solace in God as his dear
mother Rose Unoma Gwam has celestially joined the elects of God Almighty. Speaking
with iconblazemagazineonline Anthony Mordi a good cousin of Ken Gwam said that
they are of Umuezeafadi in Umunaji, Asaba, Delta State Mordi said that when the
sad news of the demise of deceased Rose Unoma Gwam reached him, that he felt
very sad, but, he says that in as much as she is gone to higher glory Mordi
concurs that Mama Gwam led a good life and that she was very delightful woman
and always smiling. Mordi concurs that Mama was loved by all and sundry. In his
words, (I have told Ken my cousin that he needs to take heart. He needs to be
proud of his late mother and also take up the mantle of leadership of the
entire Gwam family). Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline the heir apparent to
the Gwam dynasty Ken Gwam who flew into Asaba, Delta State Nigeria, from
England to honour his late mother Rose
Unoma Gwam with a grand style burial. He
says that his late mum lived a worthy life style of emulation by all and
sundry. He praised the name of God that his late mother affected all persons
that crossed her paths positively. He said that his late mum spoke the truths
at all times regardless whose ox is gored. He prayed to the celestial bodies to
welcome the good soul of his late mum in a blessed light of Heavens. He wishes
his siblings and all the Odums to bear this uncommon loss of best mother in the
entire universe. He says that Kenneth Abuah is like a brother from the same
womb with him, this is because of the way they relate with each other since
where children.
Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Jane Gwam the only
daughter of late mama Gwam gave praises and thanks to God Almighty Father for
the good life her dearly beloved mother lived. She says that when the sad news
of her mum demise broke to her, that she did not believe the realness, but as
the seconds, minutes, hours, day,s weeks ticked away, she regained her
consciousness properly and of a truth she accepted the fact that her mum has
gone for good and she prayed for her good soul to be saved. Speaking with
iconblazemagazineonline, Mrs. Ofunne Ken Gwam, the spouse of Ken and a
daughter-in-law to late mama Gwam said that she has lost a good, sweet and real
mother in all ramifications. Yes, she was my mother-in-law, but, she made me to
be her second daughter after Jane my sister-in-law. In actual sense, I really
lost a soul mate and I have handed her priceless soul to Jesus Christ Himself.
The
Reception of late mama Rose Unoma Gwam gathered the crème –dele crème of the
society and the list is endless.
