The
Lagos State Governments is fighting crime with all her arsinals and this
positive assertion was made yesterday March 21, 2018, at the securex West
Africa conference at Landmark Centre Victoria Island Lagos by the Keynote
speaker Mr. Kunle Ajanaku, Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos state on
security and intelligence. Speaking further as a keynote speaker Ajanaku said
that the administration of Mr. Akinwunmi Dapo Ambode has employed all the security
applications needed to make sure that Lagos state is relatively crime free. He declared
the two days securex West Africa conference opened.
The first panelists were putting
place too technically and quintessentially discuss the meat of the two day
securex West Africa conference and the panelists were Mr. Kunle Ajanaku,
Special Adviser to the Governor Lagos State on security and intelligence, Mr.
Opeyemi Agbaje, Managing Director/CEO RTC advisory Mr. Fola Arther-worrey, fmr solicitor general,
permanent secretary, Lagos State ministry of justice.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Israel Ajao (Rtd) and currently the chairman
of Lagos State Safety Neighborhood Corps (LSNC) and the moderator of this first
session was Seyi Adetayo. The panelists did not disappoint the participants with
their celebra analysis of the theme of the securex West Africa conference 2018
which centered on Commercial, Homeland, Security Fire, Safety, and Cyber Security.
The second panelists consisted of Adebayo Akinade, Executive Secretary Institute
of security Nigeria. Tanwa Ashiru , CEO, Defense, Intelligently and Security
Analysis, Bulwark Intelligence.
Dr. Ona Ekhomu, President, Association of
Industrial Security & Safety Operators of Nigeria, (AISSON) Seyi Adetayo,
Lagos Chapter chairman, ASIS and the moderator of this second segment was Ubong
King chairman, protection plus service. And, again the panelists did not
disappoint the audience with the manner they all technically answered the
questions posed to them by the moderator. Dr. Ekhomu, president of AISSON did
pragmatically carry the audience doing with his sharp elucidations of modern
security, crime detections and prevention with uncommon technological
apparatuses.
Speaking
He said that Intersec is the higher version of Securex West Africa has been hosting this uncommon security conference at Landmark center, Victoria Island, Lagos. Obinabu concurs that securex West Africa is really a platform where all big names in the electronics and integrated security converged to share ideas on the newest and latest technologies in the entire globe.
He said that it is a gathering of who is who in the security industry both at home and abroad and again, Obinabu agreed that in the last four years his company has maintained a stand as an exhibitor and his regular presence of his company tells the robustness of Afrisec and Afrisec has array of qualified engineers who technically handle all the technical aspect in of Afrisec.
Speaking with journalists Dr. Ekhomu said that many individuals are not happy that Nigerian still exists as one sovereign nation, Rather they have been plotting negatively to break up Nigeria. He said that the crime rate in the country has become so alarming that if care is not taken, the explosion would be too bad in future. He said that there are 53 secret cult groups in schools both colleges and universities that have caused some serious dangerous effects on the lives the students.
He said that everybody really have to work hard so that this ugly cultism activities could be stemmed. Dr. Ekhomu agreed that the federal government must invest heavily on newest and latest technological applications so that crimes and criminalities must be reduced for the benefits of all and sundry. He generally concurred that securex conference is a nice platform as he calls on the federal government to bring back the Dapchi 111 girls abducted recently by Boko Haram terrorist group.
