WE WERE AT COURTS FOR 20 MONTHS – DR.OLAFESO

Speaking to caucus members of People's Democratic Party (PDP) South West Zone at the Long Room Hall, Welcome Center Motel Airport road, Lagos, the chairman, Dr. Eddy Olafeso told the gathering that they spent 20 months at four different courts and that finally the appeal court in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital upheld the leadership of Dr. Olafeso and his team as the authentic executives of People Democratic Party (PDP) in the south west.

Dr.Olafeso painfully narrated to the audience what difficulties and drawbacks the litigations had caused the progress of the party in the south west.
But however, he did say that he is very, very, very gladdened that the ugly case has been legally sorted out in their favour. He says that this is the time to put behind all the drawbacks that they had passed through in the past and pragmatically move the party forward so that as 2019 general elections draw closer,(PDP) could win back all the south west states and Aso Rock villa, Abuja.

He told the gathering that the All Progressives Congress (APC) of President Muhammadu Buhari led administration has failed all Nigerians because all political promises they dished out to the electorate has not been fulfilled .
Dr. Olafeso urged his members to positively work hard by closing ranks with the National body of party at Abuja of which Chief Uche Secondus is the National Chairman.

He particularly commended HE Dr. Ayodele fayose, the executive governor of Ekiti state for uncommon doggedness of telling the truths to APC led administration of PMB and  again

Dr. Olafeso also praised the Lagos state PDP Chairman Hon Moshood Salvador for the sterling efforts he and his team are working out policies to position the party above all persons. He said that he visited Lagos and spent two days with Hon. Salvador whereby they discussed issues that would bring great success to the party.
Many goodwill messages were received from members but, the elder statesman Chief Ebenezer Babatope a.k.a Ebino Tosey gave out an inspiring goodwill message to members whereby he encouraged them to be up and doing for the party as the 2019 general elections draw nearer. He generally advised all and sundry to go back to their various states and to rebuild the broken walls of PDP so that the down trodden masses would key into the manifestoes of the party.
