URGES BELLS UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS TO BE CREATIVE THINKERS

Speaking
as the guest lecturer at the Multipurpose Hall (MPH) Bells University of Technology,
Ota, Ogun State Nigeria, Dr. Benjamin Dike urges, Bells University Of
Technology Students to be creative thinkers adding that that creative thinkers
with sharp ideas rule the world.
Speaking
as the guest lecturer of the 9th Annual College Lecture organized by
the College of Management Sciences (COLMANS) with the theme (Disruptive Technology
and Future Trends: How Technology is Reshaping The Global Economy. Of truth Dr.
Dike who is an experienced banker with over two decades of vintageness in the
industry and currently the Head of Business Standard Chartered Bank did not
disappoint the audience with his lucid and cerebral delivery of 22 pages of
well worded and researched seminar paper.
He postulated
several models of economic and technological policies that would drive the
economy through effective and efficient leadership adding that creative leadership
would always attract uncommon development for the citizenry.
He submitted
that automation technologies are gradually making in roads on the economies
theories of some developed and advanced nations of the globe and he publicly
demonstrated this model with a Sophia who is the newest citizen of Saudi Arabia
though Sophia is a Robot, yet she did virtually what humans could do
effectively.
He pragmatically
challenged the students to positively create something for themselves, adding
that they could create a brand, product, books, business before they finally transmute
from the surfaces of this planet earth. He says that the entire country is
looking up to young people to rise up with new ideas, researches adding that life is time and time is life. Dr. Dike
says that every young Nigerian should create an event that would structurally
improve the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the nation thereby creating more
opportunities for unemployment problems be radically reduced.
He told
the students and academies that Easu and Jacob were twins siblings by the same
parents of Isaac and Rebecca, adding that Isaac was a leader who only cared for
his stomach while Rebecca was a leader with sharp intelligence who prepared her
son Jacob for leadership streaks. Dike further says that Easu was a hardworking
man, yet he earned very low while Jacob who was a creative thinker earned uncommonly
by asking Easu to regulate his seniority to him with a plate of porridge which
was cooked with spicy ingredients which Rebecca goaded him to do again, Dike
tells the audience that Nigeria is highest producer of cassava globally, yet
the benefit inherent from cassava are disregarded by the clueless leaders at
the top adding that ethanol is found in cassava which could be used for the
production fuel, as starch, floor et’al
are also found in cassava. He brilliantly submitted that in 2030 china
would comfortably control the economy of the entire globe and he queried what
are the leaders of Nigeria planning to pull out from heavy economic draw backs
killing the down trodden masses and economy itself, sadly Dike says, that all
hands must be on deck so as to pragmatically reposition the economy for the
good of all and sundry.
Dike submitted
that any nation that does not produce is totally bound to remain poor adding
that, Nigeria must not remain a consuming nation, but, that she should also
re-direct her economic policies for improvement for the benefits all and
sundry.
Again he
submitted that the school curricula really got to be changed for the better of
the nation adding that the policy makers of educational matters got serious jobs
on their hands because Information Communication Technology (ICT) is driving vehicles
for development when he rounded off his scholarly presentation he was appreciated
by the audience with a standing ovation and questions were fielded to him and
of a truth he provided answer to the those questions.

to the audience the Ag. Dean of College of Management Science, Bells University
of Technology, Ota, Ogun State. Dr. Oluwafemi Enilolobo thanked Dr. Dike for accepting
their invitation to be the guest lecturer and also more thanks accorded him because
he facilitated his bank in advertising in the lecture brochure which greatly
contributed towards the printing of the lecture adding that College Lecture is
part of their academic culture in Bells University of Technology as well as it
has become a platform for bringing towns and gown together as seasoned and
experienced professionals and renowned scholars are invited to give educative informative
and thought provoking lectures to their staff, students and the commonly at
larger.
Speaking again the Ag. Dean of
College of Management Science says that their college lectures have become a veritable
tool in advancing their frontiers of knowledge and contributing immensely to
the development of academic discourse. The Ag. dean said that the theme of 9th
College Annual Lectures (Disruptive Technology and FUTURE Trends: How Technology
is Reshaping `the Global Economy) came at a time things are changing very fast and
drastic development are taking place in all facets of life across the world
adding that the Future is already here and he queried is Nigeria ready for the Future?
Again, are Nigerians ready for the Future? As the charges are quietly creeping in
on all and sundry. Speaking to the audience the Vice Chancellor of Bells
University of Technology Professor Jeremiah Oludele Ojediran said that he is
really thankful to the guest lecturer Dr. Dike who had graciously accepted to
honour their invite, despites busy schedule and came to deliver the lecture
adding that they are really most indebted for his sacrifice and commitment to actualize
the days lecture in the face of falling business models and bankruptcy. Prof.
Oyediran told the audience that bells university Of Technology, Ota very first Private
University of Technology in Nigeria as she was established by Bells Educational
