WE NEED HEAVY AWARENESS, SENTIZATION OF THE GIRL CHILD PROTECTION – TOLANI OLORUNFEMI

Speaking with journalists at the Ladi Lawal Press Centre, Iyalla Street near Shoprites, Alusa, Ikeja, Lagos, the gentle giant Tolani Olorunfemi, a United Kingdom based Social Worker at the department of children said the general public needs heavy awareness and sensitization of the girl child protection from all dangerous happenings around the girl child at all times adding that if Late Little Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaje had an ample awareness and sensitization of child right of protection in her consciousness that she would not had been a sexual toy to the senior lecture in the department to Catering and Hotel Management, Benue State Polytechnic Ugbokolo, Mr. Andrew Ogbuja, aged 51 year.

Speaking again Tolani Olorunfemi said that she broke down when she read the ugly news on social media adding that she is a mother of three beautiful and young daughters with her in England as she quietly concurred that the girl child should always be educated not to accept little token from total strangers or sit on the laps of male uncles, classroom teachers adding that if the girl child knows what to do when all these bad vices do happen to them, that they should raise alarm to the general public for protection.

Speaking again Tolani Olorunfemi said that she is really glad that Mr. Ogbuje had been arraigned for fresh charge at the Chief Magistrate Court in Makurdi and also has been remanded in the prison for the alleged rape of his 13years old house help adding that the powers that be must critically hand down to late Little Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaje a justice and that the punishment that would have meted to Ogbuje would therefore serve as a deferent to others who are in the same train with him.

Speaking with journalists after the road walk Mrs. Stella Okpala an old student of Federal Government College, Gboko, Benue State that what Ogbuje did was really painful, dehumanizing, debasing to the girl child, mothers and womanhood globally. Okpala called on the federal government of All Progressives Congress (APC) to critically, objectively, effectively and efficiently examine this heinous crime committed against Late Little Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaji so that unfettered justices would be granted to her.

Speaking with journalists that President General of Unity Schools Students Association (USOSA) Laurence Ani Wilbert said that Ogbuje and his son who is at large should be adequately taught some nice lessons from their wickedness of severally molested the Late Little Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaji so as to serve as a deterrent and testament that other men who preferred to have the canal knowledge of baby girls would be sorry for themselves adding that the powers that be should not all external  influences to be cloud their right thinking’s and scuttle the carriage of proper justice adding that an injury to one is injury to all.

The road walk exercise done on behalf all progressives minded human being was put together by a college of Non-Governmental Organizations:

·        CEE – Hope

·        Woman Awareness for sustainable Empowerment Initiative (WASEI)

·        Unity Schools, Old Students Association (USOSA)

The road walk protest did take off from Ladi Lawal Press Centre, Shoprite, Secretariat Alausa, Lagos Television Axis and back to Ladi lawal press Centre and all the protesters decked on all the black tunic in solidarity with Late Little Elizabeth Ochanya Ogbaji who died of Vesicovagianal Fistula (VVF) and other health complications after been allegedly sexually abused by father and son on several occasions for 5 years.
