Foundation Presents the “Ultimate Service to the Public” , Formally launches
KMF

The Kelly Mayor Foundation has presented a book
titled “The Ultimate Service” a new age concept on leadership and service to
the general public at the Prof Yusuf Grillio Arts Hall, Yaba college of
Technology, Yaba, Lagos.
Speaking to the audience the convener Owenaze Kelly
Mayor said that he expressed gratitude unto the Almighty God for giving them
the grace as the event had shown successful streaks adding that he thanked the
CMD, Nigeria Army Reference hospital Yaba, the state coordinator of NYSC Lagos
State Ministry of Health, Nigeria Institute of Medical Research NIMR and their
Pro-Partner, Glaxo Smith Klein
Pharmaceutical GSK Ministry of Environment, State Universal Basic
Educational Board SUBEB, National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and
Control (NAFDAC) parents whom had also found out time to identify with him as
well as the students Union and members
of association.
Speaking further to the audience the arrow head of
Kelly Mayor Foundation said that the government had established their roles and
responsibilities to attend to many of needs and agitations from communities to
communities adding that they had provided good
roads, water, electricity, good health facilities, capacity building,
infrastructural facilities, market rehabilitation and education enforcement as
the trend kept increasing, birth rate and other forms of population increase
factor.
Speaking again to the audience Owenaze Kelly Mayor
said that the government alone cannot shoulder the responsibilities of the
citizens thus the needs of a Non-Governmental Organizations and Philanthropists
gesture are really needed to join hands with the powers that be in providing and
rendering social services that translates on Community Development and
Improvement of Mankind.
Speaking to the audience the book reviewer the Dean
of school of science, Yaba college of Technology, Dr. (Mrs.) A.O. Dawodu said
that the book written by Owenaze Kelly Mayor “The Ultimate Service is divided
into 16 chapters and all chapters explaining the real concept on leadership and
absolute service delivery adding that some of them are concept of leadership and service, service leadership, servant leadership,
custodian leadership, religious views on leadership, transformation leadership,
visionary leadership, leadership and priorities , work place leadership,
element of motivation, work efficiency and productivity, Fundamental of
Management and Administration, including levels and skills of an effective
Administrator, good induction training. The book reviewed contained six
pages of heavy researches of the works Owenaze Kelly Mayor had written in the
past adding that the book is recommended for all and sum to read. 
Speaking to the audience the Executive Chairman of
Yaba local council Development Hon. Kayode Adejare Omiyale said that he had
personally listened to Kelly Mayor and also had gone through the documents
where some of the projects he (Kelly) embarked upon in Yaba Local Development
Area and its environs were visible for all to see for instance, water
rehabilitation at Marocco Primary school, Military Barrack and Hussey Military
Primary. Speaking again that as a local Government, they would continue to
partner with Kelly Mayor in order to bring infrastructural development to their
communities adding that government alone cannot provide the needs of the
people. 
Speaking further the Executive chairman Hon. Omiyale
said that the citizens still needed portable water, environmental sanitation,
youth mentorship advocacy programmes and much more people like Kelly to help
the residents to stop dumping refusing of illegal spots and he finally averred
that Yaba Local Council Development Area was adjudged the cleanest in Lagos
State because the community was well planned being the first community that was
exposed to the Colonialists adding that the standard must not be allowed to
divide, rather there should be heavy improvements of cleanliness.
