Crime World Presents 2nd Edition
of The Nigeria Hallmark Awards 2018

The
Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Crime World Magazine, Prince Albert Uba and
his staffers had put together the 2nd edition of 2018 Annual Lecture
Award at the prestigious welcome Centre along Murital Mohammed International
Airport, Ikeja, Lagos. The key note speaker, the former Chairman of Nigeria Bar
Association (NBA) Ikeja branch Barr. Adeyemi Ojo delivered the award lectures
title “The Law, Hate Speech and Issues Based Campaign.
He did not disappoint the
audience with his presentations where he clearly defined law as that
instruments that regulate activities of human beings in a given society. He
said the laws are meant for man and when a man breaks the laws of the land,
that such a man pays the price by facing the consequences of the fall out.
He
said that hate speech is used to make people feel that the person spoken at is
actually a bad fellow whereas the person may not be as bad as intended. He said
that issues based campaign are also seen in the same vein with hate speech now
that the general elections of February 2019 had begun effective campaigns by
all the candidates of various political parties.
He frankly said that the electorate
should not listen to hate speeches from politicians, adding that the electorate
should be fair in their judgments before casting their votes for the candidates
of their choice.
The climax of the ceremony was when the awardees began to
receive their awards and Comrade Sunday Odita, the President of Crime Reporters
Association of Nigeria, Lagos Branch who represented Prince Ned Nwoke a
Senatorial Candidate for Delta North extraction unveiled the crime world latest
edition of publication and he was supported by other awardees like CSP Dolapo
Opeyemi Badmos, Isaiah Wu, Amaka Sandra Nwaka, who had worked with Dove TV Media,
reports for City Pride Magazine and she is the owner of Tashale World Media,
Cornel Udofia the CEO of CMC and Gladiators et’ al.
The compere of the event is
Mr. Frank Oshanugor for the publisher and editor-in-chief of Security Express
Magazine.
