UBULU-UKU ELEGANT LADIES CLUB CELEBRATES NEW YEAR GIG IN A GRAND STYLE

The Ubulu-Uku Elegant Ladies Club, a socio cultural club has proudly and pleasantly celebrated her New Year Gig in a grand style at the residence of Mrs. Madaline Ogbolu. Speaking on behalf of the Chairman of the ceremony, Mr. Okechukwu Ojeah who stood in for Mr. Andy Isichie advised the members of the Ubulu-Uku Elegant Ladies Club to begin to admit younger women into their club adding that they the older members are now grand mothers as such they really need to begin to do new membership drive with young Ubulu-Uku daughters who are legally spoused to Ubulu-Uku sons.

Speaking again to the members of Ubulu-Uku Elegant Ladies Club he said that they should apply flexibility in the manners with which they run their affairs.
Speaking to the members of Ubulu-Uku Elegant Ladies the gentle giant and the spouse of Mrs. Obiagali Enuoyibo, Engineer Igwe Enuoyibo advised them to toe the lines the deputy chairman suggested to them adding that they practically need to inject new blood into the club for more productiveness.

Speaking to the club members Barrister Akex Monye, the Legal Adviser to the club also concurred with the innovative ideas the two speakers had espoused. He said that they had come a long way now and of a truth that they really got to work out modalities of admitting younger members into the club so that the club does not go into extinction in the future.

Speaking as the President of the club Mrs. Maria Osadebe a retired Assistant Director from the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and also a graduate of Public Administration of Delta State University, Abraka many years ago gladly and pleasantly welcomed all the members of the club to a brand new year 2019 to the glory of God. She brilliantly narrated to all and sundry how four good, loving, hardworking, positive thinkers of Ubulu-Uku daughters cum wives came and sat together on June 20th 1986 to discuss the intents and purposes of forming Ubulu-Uku Elegant Ladies Club adding that from four members another eight other women joined them, bringing the membership strength to 12 members.

Speaking again she said from 12 members, that the membership progressed to 25 members. She categorically outlined all the laudable achievements the club had achieved since her inception adding that the architectural master piece Ark at the entrance of Ezemu Palace, Akpama quatres, Ubulu-Uku Kingdom was sponsored by the club. And again she said that the club had visited the Save our Soul (SOS) village. Isolo Lagos with joys, love, happiness, et’al to the children and management.
She said that the club had done the investiture of the patron and matron in the past. She also outlined that the programs the club would embark for the 2019, but, primarily she said that the club plans to organize a talk show with the students of Ezemu Girls Grammar School (EGGS) Ubulu-Uku in no distant time.

As the club celebration of New Year gig wore on, the Chairman of the event Mr. Isichie arrived. And, frankly speaking he spoke to the club members with kind words and he also largely encouraged them to be most proactive, efficient, effective and productive in all their undertakings for the public good of all the sons and daughters of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom and the larger society.

Miss Ifeoma Osamor, the young damsel of Mr. Alex Osamor of Onicha Okpe quatres Ubulu-Uku Kingdom entertained the club members and other guests with soul rendering praises to Abba Father on high as side effects.

The club pleasantly honoured Mr/Mrs Okechukwu and Joy Ojeah as the best couple of the year 2018. The club members and guests were entertained with assorted drinks and tasty delicacies. The music man did play the music of yester years which is branded Old School tunes.

    Thank you for the write up on our Club's outing on Saturday, 19th January ,,2019. It was a good article about Ubulu Elegant Ladies Club but very important features of the event were not showcased. The cutting of the cake where other members appeared should have been posted in that write up, if you dont have the picture l will send it to you..
    I look forward to reading more news and other information on your platform .which l did not know existed before now.
