A GODLY WOMAN BOWS OUT TRIUMPHANTLY
BY FINEFACE IWELU
Mrs. Caroline Isioma Esan (Nee Nwadei) Aged 67 (March 23rd 1951 – January 9th 2019) a truly Godly woman, wife, mother, has bowed out triumphantly to the Seraphic, Celestial realms of the Heavens.

In honour of her service of songs at Sheba Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, there were opening prayers, opening hymn, the first scriptural reading (Psalm 23) was taken by her daughter Kemi while praise and worship was done by Transformers place choir.

The very first exhortation was done by Pastor Bunmi Salami and of a truth she spiritually did well and she gave a graphic descriptions of late Mrs. Esan. She narrated to the audience how supportive and compassionate late Mrs. Esan was to her while she was in the United States of America and she said that time and space would apparently dwarf her if she wishes to continue to reel out all the good qualities God Himself deposited on late Mrs. Esan.

Gradual hymn of Blessed Assurance was taken and thereafter, tributes flowed in like torrent of rain drops from those late Mrs. Esan actually affected in many ways while she was sojourning on this earthly turf, but Mrs. Osadebe a wafiborn woman nuptialled to Dr. Osadebe did poured out her heart to late matron of Igbuzo Women Union. She did mention that she had dotted bottles of uncommon perfumes as gifts their matron who paid her monthly dues to support and encourage the union to grow up pragmatically.

Mrs. Osadebe is a nursing practitioner in the US.
Nwando a gentle giant and very fair complexioned lady rendered the tune (I CAN ONLY IMAGINE). Emaka Madubatu rendered a special worship rendition and of a truth the audience sang along side with him.
The second Scriptural reading (Psalm 91) was taken by her son Admiral Esan.
The lead Pastor of Trinity House Ituah Ighodalo gave a soul searching sermon – but before he delivered the said sermon the Trinity House choir performed soul lifting praise and worship rendition.

Thereafter pastor Ighodalo started his sermon from (Job1:19 – 21). He says that death happens to every one and it can happen when no one or anybody least expected it to happen. He says that every single person born by a woman will die some day, some time. He says that death has no regards or respects for anyone adding that every single person will be a guest to the mortuary.
He says that death would always look for someone to pick up. He submitted that death would not always accept fines, appeals, excuses et’al adding that God Himself knows exactly what he is doing. He encouraged all and sundry to be adequately prepared for death because it will definitely come when it would come.

He narrated to the gathering  how he went to Eko hospital Ikeja, to pray  for the family of a 79 years old dead man at the mogue and at the same time he would be going to home at Anthony Village Lagos to pray for the christening of an eight days old new born baby. He says that on his way from Eko hospital he began to run his minds comparing the two events. Leaving the house of death and heading  to house of thanksgiving.

He also told the audience of how a certain man had the capacity to forcast peoples death with red cap symbol and when he himself saw the red cap coming down on his head he says that the forcast man took to his heels and finally ran into the mouth of a truck who swallowed him up.
He also narrated  sad stories of Bellview crash that the earth opened up her mouth and swallowed them all adding that no single soul of the Belview body’s was found till date.
But he comforted the Esans that at least they have the last remains of their wife, mother, sister, mother – in – law et’al to commit to mother earth.

He prayed for them that God Himself who knows all things would always cover them with uncommon protection.
Tomiwa the business partner who later became a son – in – law to the Esans gave his tributes and at some point he broke down and left the pulpit.
Pastor Adelakun Salami said the departing prayers.
