AFRICA WILL BE DEVELOPED BY AFRICANS – PAST. UGO DIBIA
BY LEO EZEKIEL
Speaking as one of the board member of Pastors of Christ Embassy of Pastor Chris Oyakilome at the functions suites of Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja, Lagos Pastor Ugo Uju Dibia said that Africa will be developed by Africans themselves. He pleasantly made this submission at the grand unveiling Africa for Africa youth initiative ----- maximizing Africa resources adding that there are about 1.9 billion persons of Africa descendants. He frankly submitted that the youths are extremely intelligent, creative, proactive and forward looking adding that if te leaders of Africa countries could provide a template of effective and efficient leadership that the youths do have uncommon opportunities to develop Africa for the public good of all and sundry.
Speaking further Pastor Dibia said that in the year 2013 Africa was rated the poorest continent globally adding that Africa for Africa youth initiative is a faith based Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) that with teaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ, that all intended innovative ideas would be achieved by Africans adding that this is the maiden edition which would be pragmatically run yearly with sisters faith based organizations of Christ Embassy Church.
Speaking again Pastor Dibia said that Africa must wake up from her deepest slumber and take her faith with her hands adding that Africa must not be seen as a continent of wars, hunger, crimes, starvation, ritualist, kidnapping, terrorism nations, cities of prostitutions et’al.
Speaking to the unprecedent crowds of youths from most especially Christ Embassy Church Pastor DoyinDennis Oshideko narrated a touching story of Ali Fayed adding that Ali Fayed had lots of plots of lands for his farming business but, very, very, very sadly the prnest of his village sold the ideas of getting diamond to be unimaginal wealthy and again, very, very, very sadly  Fayed sold off his plots of lands and handed his family to a bosom friend to
ease of them while he set off in search of diamond that were in large numbers in his farm lands unknown to him.
He said Fayed never came back to his family because he died in a foreign land while searching for diamond adding that the new owner of the land saw some stones in the farm land and picked them up.
Again Pastor Oshideko said the same priest came to Fayed home and found the diamond on the table and he asked if Fayed had returned with the diamond on the table, then the new owner told him it was one of the stones he picked up from the farm land but, the priest told him that it was a diamond not a stone, Pastor Oshideko said sadly what Fayed sold off from his farmlands included diamond that he went off in a far away lands searching for as he did concluded that Africans have all the good things of life in the 55 countries of Africa and needless travelling abroad to seek for greener pastures. Speaking to the uncommon crowds of faith based youths of Christ Embassy Church the publisher and Editor – in – Chief of National Daily Newspapers Sylvester Ebhodghe gave a graphic workings of media to the reading public. He said that truth remains truth, that nothing on earth would ever change it adding that media is heavily charged to tell the truth at all times and thereby confined the Satan and its agents to public shame.
But, again Ebhodaghe says that truths do not sell well because lots of persons do not believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ that it is only the truth would set all and sundry free.
Speaking again Ebhodaghe says that the narrative of negativism of Africa must be changed for the better because BBC, CNN, Aljazerah et’al would never report Africa in a good light rather that they preferred to report Africa issues negatively whereas there are more crime carried out in the city of New York than the entire 55 countries of Africa,
He said that the America reporters would always report the good sides of America to the entire globe whereas Africa is always reported in a bad light of wars, crimes, hunger, starvation, killings, genocide in Soweto, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Darfur, Southern Sudan, Zimbabwe, Boko Haram insurgence in the North East of Nigeria, Fulani herdsmen of the same northern zones. He said that what Africa and Africans do really need is good leadership model where rule of law
international would be respected by the government of the day, where media owners would allow their editorial staffers to report fearlessly no matter whose ox is gored. He charged the youths to be creative with innovative ideas always because creative ideas rule the world with huge success of human capital development.
He charged the youths not to think leaving the shores of Africa to any foreign lands because God Himself have blessed Africa and Africans uncommonly with good climate, mineral and resources of all kinds.
The audience were entertained with various musical display of the rich cultural heritage adorning in the lands of Africa, but two dashing and unimaginably talented girls Akpati Theresa Oracle and Godwin Happiness – God eye thrilled the audience with Africa richness of cultures and the 55 countries flags were proudly and pleasantly displayed to the admiration of all and sundry. The various speakers encouraged the youths to shun all the bad vices of life and that they should Godly imbibe the qualities of Joseph and David of old testament.
