CULTISTS TERORIZED NEKEDE COMMUNITY BRAZENLY

A
deadly cult group had terrorized Nekede community brazenly with their
unwholesome cult activities in the Nekede community of Oweri West Local
Government area of Imo state had sadly and wickedly claimed the lives of three
persons.
Speaking
at a press briefing to journalists the Public Relation Officer (PRO) Ikeokwu Orlando on behalf the Commissioner of
Police Imo state command at their command headquarters, Owerri Dasuki Galadanchi disclosed to the
press the unwholesome cult activities that had sadly, wickedly and brazenly
ravaged the Nekede community of Owerri west local Government area of Imo state.
In
accordance with the document made available to Iconblazemagazineonlineportal
the PRO concurs that this cultic activities and its environs adding that he is
very glad that they rose up to the challenges and had graciously brought the
incident under control and as at this pres time normalcy had returned to the
trouble area.
Speaking
again the PRO SP Ikeokwu disclosed that a total of five suspects involved in
the crime had been nabbed by the longer arm of the law as well as arms and
ammunition were recovered from the cultists.

Ikeokwu further disclosed to the press that the police command had arrested the
cultists suspect and there are Martins Iwuagwu “M” 28 years, Obinna Ojike ‘M’
25 years and Chibueze Kalu ‘M’ 18 years adding that victims (deceased) were Chidi
Obilonu ‘M’ 39 years, and Cyracius Ekejiuba ‘M’ 45 years. The PRO disclosed that
some exhibits were received from the deadly cultic group and these exhibits
were two Berretta Pistols with two .9mm live ammunition and one locally made
pistol with one live cartridge adding that on 14th of March, 2019 at
about 19.30 hours along old Nekede road, two persons were gruesomely shot dead.
SP Ikeokwu said that acting on Intelligence report Operatives of Anti Cultisim
Unit of the command swung into action on receipt of the report and heavily
raided the hide out of the hoodlums where the above mentioned suspects were
arrested and the exhibits did recover from them adding that the suspects had
made useful statements to the police admitting to be a member of secret cult.

Ikeokwu says that investigations are going for the purposes of unearthing the
whole truths about the arrested suspects.
