ADAMS TAKES OVER FROM OJO ADEPOJU AS
THE NEW PRINCIPAL BFMSSS

Mrs.
Stella Folashade Adams has taken over as the new principal of Babs Fafunwa
Millennium Senior Secondary School, Ojodu, Lagos from Yeye Oba Elizabeth
Oyefunke Ojo – Adepoju who pleasantly bowed out from the Lagos State Public
Service in the Ministry of Education after a 35 years of meritorious service.
Speaking
with the media in her expansive and well-furnished office the young elegant
ebony colour woman Adams said that she resumed duty at Babs Fafunwa Millennium
Senior Secondary School, Ojodu, Lagos on the 9th September, 2019 and
she came in very calm, cool and calculated to the office without displaying the
prazziness and craziness of a new posting to the students and staffers of the
BFMSSS adding that September 9th, 2019 was her birthday and from the
teachers she began receiving congratulatory birthday wishes.
Speaking
further with the media, she said that she has two major agenda to take headlong
for the school and these agenda are (one) Performance of the learners i.e the
students in academic excellence and morals, values, mores, norms are to be
instilled into the students totally while the second agenda would be the
improvement of infrastructure in the school adding that the parents forum and
the five able Vice Principals of the school would largely help to galvanise the
much needed academic excellence and overall development of the entire students.
Speaking again with the media she said that her teachers are heavily friendly
and understanding in all ramifications.
She
narrated long narratives of her teaching career to the media adding that teaching
profession is one of the best professions on earth and she encourages all and
sundry to take up teaching as a career because the benefits of a teacher are
unlimited in all fronts.
Speaking
with the media the young handsome husband of Yeye Oba Ojo – Adepoju prince
Kayode Babatunde Ojo – Adepoju said he met with his loving and flashing spouse
as a teacher at Ogba Grammar School while he too was teching there adding that
their love next got consummated before, he pulled out from teaching and headed
for United States of America for greener pastures. He said that the long
journey of 35 years of serving God and humanity by his spouse Yeye Oba Ojo –
Adepoju had very eventful in all fronts and that he raises his voice in
thanksgiving to God Almighty Father for His unimaginable graces showered on his
spouse and entire family this period adding that his wife would retire into
good health and affluence all times to come.
Speaking
with the media the chairman of All Progressive Congress APC, Osun state Prince
Adegboyega Famodun said that he has known the retiree Yeye Oba Ojo – Adepoju
for two decades and that she has pleasantly touched the lives of many prominent
people in the society in the last 35 years she served the Lagos State as a
teacher.
Speaking
again that the continuity processes of Lagos state streaks has also being the
mantra they in Osun state apply to bring the dividends of democracy to the down
trodden masses of the Osun state and as well as all Nigerians as APC Next Level
programmes have begun in earnest. Prince Famodun generally wished Yeye Oba Ojo
– Adepoju overall good health as she bowed out from the public service of
Lafgos state.
Speaking
with the media the chairman of the event Barr. Rasky Gbinigie who was
represented by Barr. Adeyemi Shekoni – Lawal said that he wishes the celebrant
Yeye Oba – Ojo Adepoju all the God’s blessings to be upon her as she retires
into private life adding that those she has raised as a teacher would always be
there for her whenever the need arises.
The
ceremony was handed over to God through Pastor Adeshina Omitogun of Redeemed
Christian Church of God (RCCG)Mowe delivered the retirement sermon taken his
theme from Psalm 127:1. He said that nothing in life is forever that there are
seasons for all things in life that whatever that has a beginning would have an
end as the celebrant began her teaching career in the year 1984 and to the
glory of God she has bowed out in 2019 after a good 35 years of hard work,
diligence, honesty, discipline, patience et’al. He said that all good gifts
come from God as it is an opportunity to show gratitude to God who protects all
and sundry.
He
said that the only cure for sin is Jesus Christ Himself adding that sicknesses,
diseases and poverty are as a result of sins. He prayed for Yeye Oba Ojo –
Adepoju, her family and everybody that she started well, she continued well and
she finished meritoriously. Her son Damilola Adepoju thrilled the audience with
the uncommon qualities his mother possesses. He said that his mother is honest,
hardworking, accommodating, always wake up from sleep by 5:00 am no matter what
time she went to bed, she is very obedient, she is kind, she is extraordinary,
she is beautiful and above all she is God fearing. The students, teachers and
Oriente groups performed lots of cultural displays to spice up the events.
