EMPLOY ALL THE CITIZENRY – HON. BALOGUN

Speaking
as the Chairman at Beady’s Word Productions Business Summits and Fair 2nd
edition 2019 Hon. Babatunde Balogun All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman,
Lagos state said that there is no time government can employ all the citizenry
as he added that the youths of the republic should be proactive, creative,
honest, focused, determined and engaging themselves with right ideas at all
times to fall in line with the theme:
Challenges Among the youths in Building Business in Nigeria, Power of Synergy.
He narrated a touching story of how some youths who were under 35years old came
up together and founded the Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) that has become now a
household word in all nooks and crannies of the republic and also of
International brands across West Africa states adding that the power of synergy
brought the founders together to gallantly and pleasantly created employment
for themselves and others alike. He generally advised all and sundry that there
is no time government can successfully pick off all the citizenry from the
streets with gainful employment rather that all that is needed is enabling
environment for uncommon and inspiring ideas and ideals to thrive on.
Speaking
as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Beady’s Word Productions Beatrice
Chinyere Nnanna said that the year 2019 similar to every other years, rolled in
with its unique set of economic hazard for growing organisations trying to find
their feet in impact creation adding that since they came on board that their
focus settles for capacity building and assisting the citizenry in maximising
whatever potentials available for them for societal development as well as
cultivating a culture of inclusiveness.
Speaking further she said that it is no longer
a news that the republic is growing faster on a daily basis, very sadly not
developing as expected, therefore the reasons all hands must be on the deck to
tighten all ends, calling on Nigerians, policy makers in particular to provide
an enabling environment for businesses to flourish as she added that focus on
SME’S as well as suggesting the system of synergy for public and private
sectors to leverage on other strength towards building the republic so that
everyone should be given an equally opportunity to flow. She rounded off her welcome
remarks that the global Sustainable Development Goal should end poverty in all
forms globally by 2030 as it ensures that all men and women in particular the
poor and the vulnerable do largely have unfettered rights to economic
resources.
The panellists that gathered some egg heads of the society did not
disappoint the audience with their sharp insights into the theme: Challenges Among The Youths in Building
Business in Nigeria, Power of Synergy. And of a truth they all brought to
bear their wide ranges of experiences in dropping workable ideas of start-ups
of businesses et’al. The panellists lined up are Senator Anthony Adefuye, Dr.
Bayero Agabi, Ajibola Abiola, Yinka Fisher, Ufuoma Emuophedom and Isaac the
coordinator of the physically challenge persons. The Beady’s word Productions
Business Summit and Fair 2nd edition displayed a lots of products
produced by the physically challenged persons and the chairman of the event and
as well as APC Lagos State Chairman Hon. Balogun poured out his large heart
towards them by purchasing virtually all the products from them. The event took
place at the Radission Hotel Ikeja, Lagos.
RADISSION HOTEL CREATES CANCER
AWARENESS
The
management and staffers of Radission Hotel Ikeja, Lagos created Cancer
awareness at her board room with a symposium titled Early Detection Saves Lives.
Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonlineportal
Abdulmajid Alaka said that the United Nations has declared the month of October
as a Cancer Awareness month so that the global citizenry would be largely and
heavily sensitised of the inherent dangers associated with breast cancer adding
that they at Radission Hotel decided to create heavy awareness through the
symposium organised for the staffers and others alike.
He said that early
detection saves live of women who are generally prone to contacting breasts
cancer as he added that women should always do self-examination of their breast
regularly so as to know if they have developed lumps around their breast regions.
Speaking
further Alaka said that this is very first time they are showcasing breast
cancer awareness as their Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) so as to create
awareness for the general public mostly women to be adequately informed of the
inherent dangers associated with the hopeless and painful disease he added that
1.3 million women are affected with breast cancer and painfully over 500, 000
women died of breast cancer yearly.
But, Alaka quickly avers that these
staggering figures could be radically reduced if the women do early detection
and self-examination of their breast. Alaka said that the government has to
provide all the indices that are needed to curb breasts cancer from destroying
the women folk.
