ASG SET TO GIVE ALL PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS TABLETS FOR CLASS USE_ Adefisayo

The Lagos state government has informed that all Lagos public Primary school teachers would be given a Tablet phone device each to improve their teaching and learning in primary school classes and leave no child behind in their achievement of quality education.
The Lagos state Governor,Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo Olu disclosed this on Monday at the Eko Excel Training programme flag off ceremony to train public school teachers for 10 days,held at Faith Plaza Hall,okuta bariga Lagos,that the teachers training has began today for them to learn through the Tablet devices in order to improve their teaching skills at the primary school level .
The Governor's representative, the Commissioner for the Ministry of Education,Mrs Folasade Adefisayo said that the uniqueness was to transform the lives of Lagos teachers in the way they teach at their skills of work and improve the way Lagos state primary school students learn in their classes for Lagos wants teachers to also use their creativities to manage difficulties and genuity in classrooms.
Adefisayo expressed further that the government is transforming lives and nurturing nation treasures as well as pushing everyone into 21st century schools and education. She said the government wanted the whole teachers grab the what would be taught as thought that in one year the teachers would be there as Lagos is setting the standard that until our students start reading perfectly and technologically from primary one.
Adefisayo however charged the teachers to excited with this opportunity that if she were a teacher with this Tablet device in schools,she would be encouraged to build herself up with the help to grow and do more to be positively impactful.
The Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Hon. Wahab Alawiye_King emphasized in his goodwill message delivered that over 2,400 Teachers were undergoing in the just began intensive training that would end on the 19th of December,2019.
He stated that the flag off programme was borne after due consultations with critical stakeholders in the education sector so as to enable us all champion the cause of the programme for the overall success of EkoExcel, a laudable initiative of the state government aimed at bridging the gap in the delivery of quality education in line with this administration's Education and Technology pillar of the Themes Agenda.
Executive chairman of LASUBEB outlined that this is is the first phase of the training which would eventually spread across all 1'016 public primary schools in the state.
Others in attendance were the Education district 2, mrs Anime Adekanye,DG Education Quality Assurance,mrs Adeola Seriki,Hon.Bayo Adefuyi,Hon.Sijuade Idowu,TGPS Education district 1, mrs Titi Saladin and Dr.Tiamiyu shitu, one of the area Baale and NUT pro Lagos,Bunmi Oyesanya.
