I WILL DECLARE A STATE OF EMERGENCY
ON HEALTH CARE SECTOR – DR. TOSIN AJAYI

Speaking
with journalists at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Alausa,
Ikeja, Lagos the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Foundation
Nigeria and as well as Health Care Providers Association of Nigeria HCPAN Grand
Patron Dr. Tosin Ajayi said that he would declare a state of emergency on the
health care sector if he were President Muhammadu Buhari adding that all
Nigerians are expected to be covered with Universal Health coverage of the
World Health Organization recommendation.
Speaking
again with journalists at the 15th National Annual General Meeting
2019 of Health Care Providers Association of Nigeria (HCPAN) with the theme: Consolidating Health Insurance: The Winning
Strategies. The HCPAN grand Patron Dr. Ajayi said that he felt very elated
that he is the HCPAN Grand Patron as he added that he would attract lots of
opportunities for the association to efficiently and effectively discharge
their uncommon roles of health care provision for all and sundry.
Speaking
to the audience the chairman of the occasion founder and Chief Executive
Officer (CEO) of Juli Pharmacy Prince Pharm Julius Adelusi – Adeluyi did
pleasantly welcome all and sundry to the 15th National Annual
General Meeting AGM 2019 adding that the place of Healthcare Providers
Association of Nigeria HCPAN can never be dwarfed by any group.
He
pragmatically encouraged members to always function aright so that the desire
results of solving health challenges in the land could be radically resolved
for the public good of all and sundry.
The
guest speaker the Chairman Governing Board Delta State Contributory Health
Commission Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta did not disappoint the audience with
lucid and cerebral presentations that kept all the participants spell bond.
When he rounded off his presentations, he was roundly accorded a standing
ovation.
Speaking
with the journalists the Executive Secretary of National Health Insurance
Scheme (NHIS) Prof. Mohammad Nasir Sambo said that the place and the roles, of
Healthcare Providers Association of Nigeria HCPAN can never be wished away just
like that adding that HCPAN is heavily discharging her duties in making sure there
is Universal Health coverage for all Nigerians whether rich, poor, children,
elderly et’al.
Speaking
with journalists the National President, HCPAN Dr. Adeyeye Jimmy Arigbabuwo
said that the theme of their 15th National AGM 2019 (Consolidating Health Insurance: The
Winning Strategies, as he largely believed all Nigerians really got to be
covered uncommonly universal Health coverage. He said that the health is life
because the healthy person is the one who performs optimally.
The
panel of discussants comprising of nine panellists did heavily contribute
intelligent insights into the theme of the 15th National AGM 2019 Consolidating Health Insurance: The Winning
Strategies. Of a truth the panellists made the topic very much
understandable and Dr. (Mrs.) Peju Adelusi, General Manger, Lagos State Health
Management Agency (LASHMA) did excellently well with her inestimable
contributions she proffered.
