Old - Mrs. Kikelomo Solomon Ayeni
By Elijah Okonkwo
Speaking as one of the speakers to
school children from 20 different primary and secondary schools from all the
nooks and crannies of Lagos state Mrs. Kikelomo Solomon Ayeni said she was very,
very & very sexually abused by a
male Adult neighbor of hers when she was only seven years old. Speakers to the
school children and the audience of her experience she said that when the
sucker sexually abused her at that tender age that she reported the incident to
her biological mother, but, very, very, very, sadly and painfully, She did say
that her mother never believed her stories adding that her biological father
was leaving in the United States of America then as she added that nobody was there
to protect her from the oaf who continually abused her sexually.
Speaking again
she said that she had to fight her battles with prayers to her God for
protections from the hand of the street urchin and of a truth, God answered her
prayers as the longer arm of the law finally nailed the good for nothing oaf to
prison for serial sexually abuse of other underage children( then the neighbor
she said that the scars of the incident are still fresh In his memories 25
years after as she advised the children to constantly report any bad approaches
made to the, by opposite sex who are far older than them. She advised the
school children to always speak up to higher authorities when an uncle,
teacher, neighbour etc. displayed unwanted goodness to them adding that these
articles of no commercial values come in different shades as if they meant well
whereas their ulterior motives are of evils.
Speaking again she said that
because of her ugly experience of more than 25 years ago, she now runs children
photography and child protection advocacy as she did heavily commend the Lagos State
Government, Ministry of Justice, the Directorate for citizens right day for
organization the seminar for school children as theme simply stressed on sexual
abuse.
She pleasantly and pragmatically goaded the school children to always be
prayerful to Abba Father for uncommon protections from the wolves, oaf,
suckers, street urchins, miscreants etc. the Honorable Attorney General and
Commissioner for Justice Lagos State Mr Moyosore Onigbanjo who was largely
represented by Sadiq Quadri a Director litigation the ministry of justice of

first major achievements of the new United Nations adding that because of this event
and moments in the history
referred to above that had gathered all and sundry to celebrate the 2019 World
Human Right Day (WHRD).
Speaking further he said that the 2019 World Humans
Right Day celebration theme “SEXUAL ABUSE as the theme was carefully selected
in the light of the prevalence of sexual abuse in the modern days society
particularly and painfully disturbingly the increase occurrence of ugly
defilement in which largely threatens safety of the children and as well as the
sanity of the society adding that sexual assault encompasses
a range of acts, including coerced sex in marriage and during relationship,
rape by strangers, rape in war, sexual harassment (including demands of sex for jobs or school grades as
well as rape of children trafficking of women, underage girls, female genital mutilation
and forced exposure to pornography.
Speaking again he said that these issue
were which Lagos State Government took seriously and its seriousness was shown
in the year 2007 with the adoption of the Child Rights Law (Child Rights Law
ch. C7 Vol. 3, Laws of Lagos State 2015) as he added that the law promotes the
survival development, protection and
participation of children in human affairs and as well it sees children as
human beings with their special distinct and important rights, as it protects every child below the
age of 18 years, the area social, economic and civil rights.

life, survival balanced development, a name, registration at birth, dignity,
respect, privacy, family life, parental care, free compulsory primary

child marriage and betrothal, tattoos and skin marks, exploitative labour
within the family, sale, hire, or use for the purpose of hawking, begging for alms
or prostitution and sexual abuse and exploitation).

children and audience the retired permanent secretary of the office parastatal
monitoring Mrs. Mary Rose Akinsanya said that this year’s celebration of 2019
world Human Rights Day is no exception as they are heavily aware that human
rights are essentially and fundamental provision in the law that ensures the
survival and continuous existence of mankind at the Directorate for Citizens
Rights under the Ministry Of Justice they are becoming their focus to “Abuse”
with the theme “Sexual Abuse” adding that various classes of Right under societal
existence should not take the child’s
right for granted adding that their appreciation goes to the Lagos state
Government that had been trail blazer
With the child’s
rights laws of Lagos state and adoption laws that had largely established the
family court and looked into the maternity leave as all the area for the
