Speaking
to the audience as the guest lecturer at the Esan Magazine 2021 Awards at the
main auditonum of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, State
Secretariat, Oba Oguola Press Centre, Benin City, Edo State Dr. Osakpolor
Omorogieva of the Department of Marine Geology, Nigeria Mantime University,
Delta State disclosed to the eclectic audience that hard word does not kill,
but rather it rewards largely the person who has pragmatically engaged himself
or herself in the doctrine of hard work.
He concurs that the Nigeria policies of youths begin from 18-25years old whereas Africa. Chatter Stipulate that Youths age should begin from 15-35 years age as he pleasantly added that Youths age is transitional from one level to another level of higher responsibility to the society. He particularly said that any nation that disregards the policies that affect the youths is heading for doom because, he profusely averred that the youths are the future leaders of tomorrow and as such the government at all levels should devote a good deal of time and resources to manage the issues of youths in all ramifications. He concurs that any youth who desires to be a professor must first of all clear his or her O/Level examinations and JAMB thereby when he or she finally gains admission into the higher institutions, that such a youth should attend his or her lectures regularly and as well as do his or her class assignments with all determination to enable him or her to come out from the school with flying colours. He generally submitted that hard work and determination and as well as the grace of God are the ingredients, to uncommon successes.
Speaking to the eclatic gathering the Chairman of the event, Comr. Roland Osakue said that the publisher of Esan Magazine Mr. Peter Iwelomen had done a good home work before he and his editorial members decided to honour the awardees with various awards owing to their immense human capital contributions they had invested into the society adding that the organizers of Esan Magazine 2021 awards did not host the said 2021 awards to rake in monies, but, rather, they did in order to encourage other individuals, who are already blessed by divine providence to wake up from their deep slumber and begin to build human capital development which would actually affect the society positively.
He largely commended the publisher of Esan magazine for having the courage, determination, doggedness to be on Newsstand for more than 35years, of the Esan magazine has played a veritable roles of correcting the ills of the society. Speaking to the audience the publisher of Esan Magazine Iwelomen said that he and his management team were really gladdened to the providence for all the graces, and kindnesses showered on them in the last 35years of news magazine publishing adding that publishing business is extremely difficult, but, he averred that despite the herculean task affecting publishing outfit though that they have resolved to keep faith with the mass audience by regularly disseminating news to general public. He pleasantly thanked the awardees for accepting and believing on the ideals of Esan magazine philosophies.
Speaking to the audience in his own words (of course, it is true that Esan land is suffused with an increadible plethora of illustrious men and women who can hold their own anywhere in the world. That is the land that produced grants like Chief Anthony Ehahoro, Prof. Ambrose Alli Admiral Augustus Aikhoromo, Chief Tony Anenih, Chief Tom Ikoni to name just a few people of other lands have wondered how small tribe like the Esan tribe can produce such and so many men and women of national and international renown and we always tell them the secret is the Esan Spirit?). The Esan Magazine 2021 awards pleasantly honoured the following awardees. Dcn. (Dr.) Vincent Agenmonmen MFR, Odalo of Uromi and Chairman Freedom Group and he was represent by his Personal Assistant, the next awardee was Chief Dr. Lemon Ikpea, Adolor of Ewatto and MDKEO Lee Group of companies and he was represented by his general manager Business/relationship Abhulimen Godwin and the last not the least of the awardees was Chief Engr. Patrick Anegbe Ehizogie of Uromi and MD/CEO Intercontinental Distiller Limited Sumrala Umogani.
