 Edo State Must Move Forward - Gov. Obaseki

Speaking to the audience at the white auditorium of Late Chief Tony Apenih Palatal Compound of Delta Crescent, G.R.A., Benin City, Edo State, His Excellency, the executive governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki said that Edo State must move forward for the public good of all and sundry adding that they have been looking at the grey areas of the state, thereby they are cleaning the house from the rots that were largely placed by the former Administration of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole who called the shots from Late Chief Dennis Osadebe Government House, G.R.A., Benin City, Edo State for eight years. 

Speaking again to the gathering that have People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) party faithful that turned out in Large numbers of party leaders, men, women and youths, Obaseki said that he particularly appreciated Mr. Tony Apenih Junior, the PDP state organizing secretary for hosting the National Vice Chairman, South-South of PDP, Chief Dan Osi Orbih and as well as the entire PDP party faithful adding that Chief Orbih has done unimaginable works in the past for the victory the PDP Party clinched in the last gubernatorial election of Saturday 20^th 2020. 

Speaking again to the audience, Obaseki said that South-South is the only zone where the PDP Governors call the shots to the citizenry in the entire country adding that the south south zone must complete the second tenure of presidency come 2023 as he gladly assigned the National Vice Chairman PDP South-South Chief Orbih to employ all the arsenals of his expertise in politics in approaching other zones to kindly work in favour of south south to complete her second term at the presidency come 2023. 

Speaking again to the audience Obaseki said that PDP ward meetings would commence from next month April 2021 where PDP party members must be heard at all given times and that attendance is also very paramount to party faithful. 

Obaseki said that while he was mobilizing resources from market women and men et’al that he did not know that some elements feasted on the said resources he gamered for the public good of all and sundry adding that the books of Comrade Oshiomhole administration must be thoroughly audited for proper accountability and as well as he avers that he would be exceedingly gladdened for the next administration coming in 2023 to be free to check the books of his own dispensation. 

He profusely and pragmatically raised his voice in praising and thanking God Almighty Father for election victory and all other court cases victories from the NGO All Progressives Congress APC, and, he assured the audience that Edo State must move forward for the public good of the citizenry. 

Speaking to the audience the National Vice Chairman PDP South-South Chief Orbih said that the Edo People’s interest must be high as he adduced that Edo State, South-South must move forward for the greater delivery of dividends of democracy to the toiling masses of the society. 

Chief Orbih said that the Federal government must reconstitute the board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) for the benefits of all and the sundry In rounding off his address to the audience, Chief Orbih said that the South-South must be heavily protected. The audiences were uncommonly entertained with live band music; all brands of foods, drinks were served.
