LIVING SPRING CHAPEL INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASES MEN’S WEEK

BY LEO EZEKIEL

Speaking to the audience at the main hall of Living Spring Chapel International, Ikeja Lifting Centre, Goshen Land Pastor Bisi Adewale pragmatically stated that men do not carry destiny, but, rather men carry destinies which affect all and sundry in a positive manner adding that Abraham destinies affected Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, et’al. Speaking further to the audience he said the theme of the men’s week which dwelled on men the great cornerstone as he did add that the men’s week would equally dwell on voyage of wisdom and kingdom of instructions.

He clearly stated that life is heavily modelled after instructions as he opines that pilot do not go to the university to study how to fly aeroplanes, but, rather that they go to flying schools where instructors do instruct them with specific instructions on how to fly the aircraft. Pastor Adewale noted that things are done according to instructions as he submitted that the church is the church of instructions.

He clearly says that (Proverbs 9:9) There is no time a man ever give instructions to a wise man and he will be yet wiser, teach a just man) as he added that men must keep learning and as well as when a child is trained, therefore means a future has been secured, when a woman is trained a family is put in place and that men are carriers of destinies. He informed the audience that life is based on four pillars and these pillars are: Faith, having good relationship with God, fitness, health is wealth and men should regularly check their health status from time to time.

There has to be a family and finance because nobody goes without monies. Pastor Adewale said that every man is unique, every man is a corner stone, every man is a genius, every man is a priest, every man is a leader, everyman is a leader, every leader should have a vision, as he quickly opined that when a sperm is given to a woman a child is born, interestingly Pastor Adewale told the audience that men are leaders, providers, men are with the compass to direct his family, men are comforters to their families, men are managers of their homes, and finally he informed all and sundry that men never in their entire life report their spouses to anybody because such behaviour will destroy their homes ignorantly.

Pastor Adawale made a reference to (Psalm 90:12) and again he told the audience that there has to be effective communications between husbands and wives because effective communications leads to a healthy and romantic marriage, he raised many modules as panaceas to making marriage a huge success.

Speaking again to the audience Pastor Adewale noted that there are some pillars while women marry and these pillars are (i) Protection (ii) Affection (iii) Attention etc.

He generally gave uncommon recipes to men to always fear God and love their spouses, their children and neighbours with the love of Jesus Christ who unimaginably loved the church.

Speaking with journalists in his office, he is the resident pastor of Living Spring Chapel International, Ikeja Lifting Centre, Goshen Land Pastor Peter Femi Emmanuel stated that the Living Spring Chapel International do normally have five special weeks to treat important issues that affect the men, women, the married people that is the family, the youth and the children and these are the reasons why they take weekend every year to specifically attend to this groups because there are trying moments within the body polity and this has resulted to attend to the peculiar needs of the people now men have their needs, women have their needs, couples have their needs, the youths have their needs and the children also have their needs and if one is in Nigeria such a person also has needs.

Speaking further, Pastor Emmanuel said that the major outcome of the men’s week is that men are able to come out and share some issues which ordinarily they will not share on a larger spectrum as men feel more understood and they can attack issues more closely and he said that when one wishes to discuss issues on a larger circle e.g there is this example of a man who wishes to pay four million naira only as his house rent and if a woman wants to attend to issues as the historian would address the problems of Nigeria historically, a mathematician will address the problems of Nigeria mathematically, a scientist will address the problems of Nigeria scientifically and people will address it from their own angle, and so when they take it they become beings very circumspect there are general needs and peculiar needs so that the men’s week is designed to meet the peculiar needs of men and that is why it is done once a year.

Speaking again, Pastor Emmanuel stated that the major outcome of the men’s week is that men have come to share the issues that they will not ordinarily share on a larger spectrum and if a woman wishes to address these issue she is going to address the issue from her point of view as he added that his teacher taught him that historian would always address the problems of Nigeria historically and a mathematician would also address the problems of Nigeria mathematically as well as a scientist will address the problem of Nigeria scientifically and everybody will address it from their own perspective, so when men are gathered some issues can be addressed by the men and these are needs to address the matter for a long time, so what they actually expect is a lot of freedom, and lot of respite and finally they can unbutton they can role up their sleeves and they can be freed that is what men’s week is all about.
