CELEBRATES FATHER’S DAY, LATE LADY JOY NKEM OLU THANKSGIVING SERVICE

West has pleasantly celebrated father’s day with the theme (The Conquering
Men) (Fathers) and the Vicar and Host Venerable Chudi Obi PhD as the
celebrant did espouse the holy scripture deeply and drew the attention of all
and sundry that fathers are carriers of destinies and this is something that they
always conquering all situations regardless on whatever challenges that may
raise its ugly head in the course of running their homes.
The Vicar/Host Dr. Obi prayed
for all round successes et’al for the fathers as they celebrate their day in
the Lord. Speaking with journalists the President of Men Christian Fellowship (MCF)
Sir Ikechukwu Ezeoyenka stated that the celebration of father’s day is always
one event all the fathers in the church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) do
normally embrace with unimaginable joys, peace, love, happiness, sharing of
gifts etc adding that the fathers came out in their large numbers to raise
their voices in thanking and praising God Almighty father for all the
uncountable blessings God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit have
largely poured upon their heads.
The president of MCF sir Ezeonyeka
said that International Father’s Day celebration is always in the month of June
on the third Sunday yearly and this year International Father’s Day falls on
the third Sunday.
Speaking further with journalists
Sir Ezeonyeka stated that they are also celebrating the 32nd
Anniversary of Men Christian Fellowship (MCF) with pomp and pageantry as all
the men decked out in overwhelming white tunic as he concurred that life is all
about challenges and thereby there must be challenges coming their ways from
time to time, but, again, he avers that because they are worshiping a living
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that whenever challenges raise up its ugly
heads that the solution are always available. He generally wished all fathers
globally a peaceful ambience, their spouses, children, siblings and neighbours.
Speaking with journalists, the chairman ANNICON Sir Amobi Okafor stated that
the celebration of father’s day is a thing of happiness and comfort for all men
(fathers) globally because the men (fathers) are the heads of their families,
managers, directors, providers of their spouses and children. He stated that
there has been always challenges facing men (fathers) but because God is ever present
in all circumstances that they always have a way of solving the grey problems
and he generally congratulated his co-fathers for the Godly celebration.
Speaking with journalists lay
reader Christian Uju Osuji said that the celebration of Father’s Day usually
brings love, joys, peace, comfort, happiness et’al to all fathers because it is
a special day set aside globally to recognize the hefty roles fathers do play
in all ramifications adding that fathers are heads of their families and that
the families makeup the society. He noted that the moral dividend in the land
and globally is as a result that most fathers have failed in their duties to
rise up and speak out the truth at all times.
He particularly admonished men
to have the fear of God and raise their children and wards in Godly manner. The
ground breaking ceremony of the Father’s Day is when all the fathers rose up uncommonly
and danced to the altar of God for their thanksgiving.
The siblings, nephews, nieces,
grandchildren, family members, friends and well wishers and the entire
parishioners danced to the altar of God in thanking God for the uncommon
successes and blessings recorded when Late Lady Joy Nkem Olu was buried in
the month of May 2021 in her home town Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha South Local
Government Area, Delta State.

Priest prayed to God of creations to always be the God of Late Lady Joy Nkem
Olu and as well as her relatives and the parishioners. We the siblings of Late
Lady Joy Nkem Olu do largely and heavily raised our voices and as well as
all and sundry for the wonderful roles everyone played for the huge successes recorded
during her funeral ceremonies. The list of all those who did one thing or the
other is endless.
