PUBLISHERS WIN RAFFLE DRAWS AT BLUE ROOF

Two publishers of two different online publications have graciously and pleasantly won consolation prizes at a raffle draw transparently and publicly done in the full view of all and sundry at the Blue Roof LTV Ikeja, Lagos as the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce Industry and Cooperatives formally brings the one week of Lagos State 6^th edition of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Exclusive Fair to a close. These publishers are Mazi Emmanuel Uzooma Oduigwe of Lagos City News online and Mr. Gbenga Adewale of Sky News Online. 

Speaking to the audience the Honourable Commissioner of Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives Hon.Dr. Mrs. Lola Akande stated that the last six days had been a very big eyes openers for all the small businesses owners who had participated in the one week exclusive fair with the theme “Effect of Covid-19, Chartting The Way Forward for MSMES” adding that despite the negative effect of Covid-19 pandemic that ravaged their entire globe in the year 2020. 

She says that she praises the amiable governor of Lagos State Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for the unimaginable supports his administration has been doing in order to lift out lots of persons out of poverty and all that adding that the exhibitors have largely gained lots of experiences in the last six days. 

The ground breaking ceremony of the 6^th edition of Lagos State Ministry of Commerce Industry and Cooperatives , Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Exclusive Fair at Blue Roof LTV Lagos when the raffle draws were done and over 100 persons won consolation prizes of various products while three lucky persons clinched the cash prizes of # 500,000.00, # 750,000.00,  # 1,000,000.00. In fact the woman that won # 750,000.00 was all over herself with overwhelming joys as she rolled over the red rugged carpet on the floor and the whole audience rejoiced with her. When she was called to say words of appreciations and of a truth she thanked the powers that be in Lagos State for the uncommon supports she has continually render to the down trodden masses. 

The representative of the executive governor of Lagos State Mr. Sanwo-Olu, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) Mrs. Folashade Jaji stated that the governor Mr. Sanwo-Olu salutes all and sundry for the doggedness they have all employed in the exclusive fair did begin adding that the exhibitors might have gained many experiences as in networking et’al. 

Speaking with journalists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Stella Anto, the producer of Soyabeans stated that the exclusive trade fair has opened her eyes to many business ideas , she has gained since the trade fair did begin adding that Lagos State Government gave all the exhibitors the stands free of charge and again she said that although no much sales is made during the exclusive fair, but, however, she says that the fair had offered her opportunities to have met many business owners like herself. Speaking with journalists another exhibitor the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Adebowale Oshikoya with a business brand Debowa Global Enterprises stated that he has been producing various leather shoes, slippers, belts et’al since 12 years ago adding that covid-19 pandemic has adversely affected the turnout of customers coming to buy the products his organisations produces. 

He said that power supply is one of the major problems they the small businesses owners do suffer, adding that if the government could provide electricity supply regularly that the cost of production will be reduced and there will be some profits for them. He pleasantly commended the Administration of Mr. Governor Sanwo-Olu for the uncommon assistance he and his team had been rendering to them small business owners adding that the exclusive trade fair had been not too favorably because clienteles did not come to patronize them as it used to be in the past. 

Speaking with journalists another exhibitor Mr. Maltida Olatundun Taiwo who is a grass root waste recycler and as well as an industrialist of waste to wealth advocator, who is converting waste to good wealth. She is also the managing Director of Good ware Stitches Ltd a waste recovering organization where they convert waste products into finished products that would actually compete globally in all standards adding that she thanks the government of Mr. Sanwo Olu and the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Cooperatives for the uncommon assistance they have rendered to all the small businesses owners as they are the ones that sponsored them in all ramifications. Speaking with journalists another exhibitor Angela Adeh the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Angelica Paul shoes making firm as she says that she has been in the shoes making business since seven years ago. S

he says that the trade fair is actually a nice one regardless that the trade fair recorded low turnout of customers to patronizes their products. 

She says that she and other exhibitors do pleasantly thank the organizers of the 6^th edition of Lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Industry and cooperatives under the watch of Hon. Commissioner, Dr. Mrs. Akande and her team for the stands they offered them. Speaking with journalists the house leader of the Legislative Arm of Ojodu Local Council Development Authority (LCDA) Hon. Wasiu Bolaji Seidu stated that the 6^th edition of Lagos State government of the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Cooperatives one week Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Exclusive Fair had come at the right time for small businesses owners adding the whole one week exclusive fair had brought opportunities for the exhibitors to have networking among themselves. 

He commended all the stakeholders involved in the organisations of the said exclusive fair. He largely advised the exhibitors to pragmatically put their experiences into valuable uses. Speaking with journalists the man of God who rendered the opening prayers for the event to officially began spiritually Prophet Kehinde Abiodun of Fountain of Hossana Church of Christ stated that God Himself is largely in Lagos State in particular because all the negative news that is daily coming up from some States of the country of Herdsmen, kidnapping and banditry do not take place here in Lagos State. 

He continued to pray to God in Heaven to continually protect Lagos State, Nigeria as he commended the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives for her forth rightness of organizing the 6^th edition of the exclusive fair 2021. The exclusive trade fair formally came to a dose by the first lady of Lagos State Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu through a representatives while the permanent secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Mr. Sewedo Oluseyi Whenu did give the vote of thanks where he uncommonly appreciated the State governor Mr. Sanwo-Olu and his team for the unimaginable opportunities they provided for all and sundry.
