GOVERNOR OBASEKI IS A GODSENT TO EDOLITES -PS ENGR. ENABULELE

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline in his expansive office at the Ministry of Infrastructure, Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, the Permanent Secretary Engr. Enabulele Ferguson Ewaen stated that His Excellency the Executive Governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki is a Godsent governor to the Edolites as he the executive governor Obaseki has been providing the social contracts the citizenry need through the Ministry of Infrastructure adding that the Ministry of Infrastructure is a new ministry that came out from the Ministries of Works and Transport.

 

Speaking further in the presence of some of directors of the Ministry of Infrastructure with iconblazemagazineonline he stated that the ministry of infrastructure has embarked on many roads projects in various parts of Benin City and outside the environs of Benin City adding that the governor did send some of the Ministry engineers to South Africa to adequately study how the South Africans handled their roads projects. He stated that the Engineers that travelled out to South Africa for intensive studies of how roads networks projects are been constructed adding that the South Africans used home grown materials to construct their roads for the betterment of her citizenry.

 

He says that the importance of roads could not be dismissed just like packs of cards because roads developments are the bedrock of development of the entire society. The handsome and humane permanent Secretary Engr. Enabulele of the Ministry of Infrastructure stated that many roads projects shall be completed by March and September 2022 adding that about hundred roads projects are to be carried out by Ministry of Infrastructure adding that the cost of carrying out all these roads projects are moderately financed by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning thereby making the roads projects achievable. He said that when the Ministry of Infrastructure Engineers that went to South Africa returned back to Nigeria, that an Engineering building has been built for research centre to enable the engineers to understudy the indigenous materials with which roads could be rehabilitated and new ones to be constructed adding that Sabogidda Ora and Sobe Areas of Owan West Local Government Area have been mapped out for necessary attentions.

 

He says that NEEDS ASSESSMENT FORMULAE has been put in place to control the developmental needs of the Edolites who are blessed with the Godsent Chief Security Officer of the State in the person of the Amiable Executive Governor of the State Mr. Obaseki adding that most of the roads are been handled in phases. He pleasantly disclosed to iconblazemagazineonline that Ekehuan, Agho, Joromi roads rehabilitation in effectively ongoing and that in no distant time the aforementioned roads shall be uncommon happiness to the citizenry because once the said roads are completely improved, the economic activities of these areas shall also attract economic advantages.

 

He says that Ugbor and Amagba areas roads are also in the NEEDS ASSESSMENT packages at the Ministry of Infrastructure which will largely improve the social and economic activities of the citizenry he says that Sapele by pass express way is among the roads the present administration of His Excellency Obaseki is attending to through the Ministry of Infrastructure, although the road is a Federal road, but that does not mean that the State Government should fold her hands and be waiting for the interventions of the Federal Government when apparently it is the Edolites that ply the said Sapele By-pass Express Way on a daily bases. He also mentioned that they would be road dualization in some areas of the state so that there will be efficient and effective management flow of the traffic.

 

He says that the Ministry of Infrastructure shall continue to eternally be grateful to the Godsent Governor to Edolites because of the massive social contracts and dividends of democracy he and his team are delivering to the down trodden masses who are the beneficiaries of all these cheering news of dividends of democracy through roads networks et’al.
