Igbo Speaking Communities In Lagos Celebrate New Yam Festival

Saturday Twenty – third October Twenty Twenty One all roads that led to the National theatre, Ignamu, Lagos were pleasantly and uncommonly walked down by all the sons and daughters of Ndi igbo residents in the entire length and width of Lagos state to graciously celebrate the new yam festival 2021. Speaking with icon blazing magazine online the Chairman Abundance United Movement on umbrella of APC Chief Ernest Nwankpa started that they attended the igbo speaking communities in Lagos the new yam festival 2021 purely to promote their culture and as well as they all came to honor the founder of Abundance United Movement (Presidency 2023) Hon Idimogu who is a leading light at the Lagos State House of Assembly who is representing Oshodi isolo II as he and his loveable spouse are conferred chieftaincy titles.

Speaking further with  iconblazemagzine online, he says that they are the members of Abundance United Movement for presidency 2023 shall carry the gospel to the South East to wrestle powers from the PDP government for their presidential aspirant for 2023 general elections adding that hon. Idimogu has built the structure to see their presidential aspirant to interface with the electorate come 2023 general elections.

Anadu Chairman of Apapa Iganmu Igbo speaking community in Lagos states that he is actually over whelmed with the celebrations of New Yam Festival 2021 adding that the weather is very friendly with them as he says that all thanks to God for the massive protections and provisions He God have always provided for Ndi-Igbo in Lagos generally. Speaking with iconblazemagzine online High Chief Paul Achiudo 1 of Igbo speaking in Lagos state that he is very happy for the celebration of the new yam festival 2021 of Ndi-Igbo in the entre Lagos.

Speaking further with iconblazemagzine online states as a High Chief that he supports the programme  very assuredly adding that he hails from Owerri North of Imo State as he added that the event of New Yam Festival is to salute their President General High Chief, Sir Eze for his uncommon organizational skills at’al and as well as all the sons and daughter of Ndi-Igbo in Lagos. 

Speaking with iconblazemagasineonline Mrs, Nnekaa Chimezine, the publisher and Editor-In-Chief of an Ndi-Igbo new speaker called (Ekwuamagba newspaper) states that the new yam festival celebration is to largely promote the cultures of Ndi-Igbo and as well as love, unity, friendliness adding that she is quite happy that the sons and daughters of Ndi-Igbo came out in their large numbers with the decking on Ndi-Igbo regalia to match the celebration they all came to mark in a grandeur. 

She says that some of their children cannot speak Igbo languages fluently, but , very sadly, they speak yourba dialect very fluently as she states that the cultures of Ndi-Igbo must not be relegated to the backgrounds because Ndi-Igbo are God’s heritages. Speaking with iconblazemaggzine online his Royal Majesty Eze Joseph Egbeogu 1 Mba, Nwakabie 1of Akaji, Kingdom, Osuputoto Umeejem, Eze Umuokoro Obial (king of boys) Gburugburu of Ndi-Igbo World Wide states that the new yam festival celebration of Igbo speaking communities actually gathered all their  brothers and sisters of Ndi-Igbo to raise their voices  in thanksgiving to God Abba father for uncommon blessings he showered upon them all these years  adding that the celebration is colorful because their woman of uncommon beauty decked out in their best element s of dressing very powerfully to add a loud statement, to the 2021 new yam festival.

She says the event is also to pray to their forebears for protection because they prayed before they planted the seed yam to yield food harvests as she adds that the whole celebration is to uncommonly raise the bar of thanksgiving to God and their forebears speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Sir Emma Oguanobi a car dealer states that the ceremony is very eventful as the adds that Ndi-Igbo love to be seen and heard wherever they go. 

He says that the new yam festival is to bring their culture from their home towns to Lagos state.
