MEN HAVE NEVER LED THIS COUNTRY PROPERLY – GOVERNOR AKEREDOLU

Speaking as the Special Guest Of Honor at the opening ceremony of AWAKE 21^st National Women’s Conference (HYBIRD) at Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel Sand Suites, plot 1415 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, Governor , Ondo State, that men have never led this country Nigeria properly since the very day Nigeria became an independent nation from October 1^st, 1960. 

He publicly told the gathering that since men have never led the republic properly that the women folks should rise up pragmatically, effectively, efficiently objectively, assiduously and tenaciously bring themselves together and take up reign of power from men that have failed in providing the needed norms, morals, values standards that would pleasantly positioned the nation in the right dimension for uncommon progresses for the citizenry. 

Speaking further as the special guest honour to the audience he states that the women folks are always singing at political rallies for men who have misruled the nation since 1960 as he charges the women folks to halt being choristers at political rallies rather they themselves should rise up and take up the bull by the horns thereby putting themselves for political positions because he states clearly and loudly that women are more better administrators than men. 

Speaking again to the gathering Arakunrin Akeredolu SAN publicly disclosed that women themselves are the same enemies to themselves as he clearly and loudly submitted that women are always at variance with themselves. He challenged the women folks to show more love and care to themselves rather than always pulling themselves down for non-issues activities. 

He pragmatically commended the first lady of Lagos state, wife of Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and her COWLSO team who have objectively put together COWISO 21^st National Women Conference which would take place from 26^th October – 28^th October, 2021 and in wrapping up his well scholarly researched presentation by charging the women folks to raise the bar of active participation in the political happen stance of their various states. 

Speaking to the gathering the executive governor of Lagos state Mr. Sanwoolu started by commending his spouse and the wife of his deputy governor Mr. Obafemi Hamzat for the magnificent roles they both played while the planning stage of this 21^st National women’s conference adding that he also appreciates the presence of the mother of the nation Dr. (Mrs) Aishat Buhari whom Dr. Rukayat represented with a powerful good will message to all the women folks who pleasantly graced the conference. 

He also charges the women folks to always support themselves with positive learnings. Speaking to the gathering the First Lady of Lagos State Dr. (Mrs) Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwoolu Chairperson of COWLSO states that COWLSO is a community based gender organization  designed principally to complement the efforts of the Lagos State Government in bringing about exponential development and growth and generally improving the welfare of Lagosians adding that it is platform through which the wives of the officials of the state government promote child health care and education, empower women to discover their hidden treasures, and protect the environment among others. 

Speaking further to the audience, she states that COWLSO was founded in the year 1974 by late Dame Obafunmilayo Johnson, the wife of late Brigadier – General Mobalaji Johnson, the First Military Governor of Lagos state adding that, that COWLSO was, at one tune very docile, but, she was reviewed by her excellency distinguished senator of the federal republic of Nigeria Chief Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu OON the wife of the grand patron and governor emeritus, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu in 1999 during her tenure as first lady of Lagos state. 

The first lady of Lagos state Dr. Mrs. Sanmo-Olu states that the conference is a platform for women not just in Lagos, but, from all over the country and beyond the shores of Nigeria to come together to shares experiences and insights on modern day issues assisting women, men, children, youths, the home front and the society in general. The Lagos state arts and culture department dramatized a play that the father of the two children one boy and one girl from the on the set the two children went to school, but one day their father came back drunk and announced to his spouse and his daughter that her education would be halted. 

The little lass wept to high heavens, but, her weeping, fell on her father’s deaf ears. But, her mother assured her that for as long as she is alive, she her daughter must be heavily educated while her husband focused on his son for better education. The son graduated from university and got a well paid job and as well as got married and began to raise his own family, while his sister through the efforts of their mother graduated from the university and also got a good job. 

As their was aging, he took ill and he called his son for financial support, but, very sadly his son treated him with 20 foot pole and the old man began to feel sorry for himself, at this juncture his daughter came in with uncommon wealth, yet, because, of love she still has for her father, she assisted her father with all he needed to live well and she told the gathering that they should all be Awake from their sumber and embrace education of girl child adding that where a boy is trained, an Individual is trained, but, when a woman is trained a nation is trained. The drama ended happily with the girl child and her mother who sold her wrappers to make sure her daughter is educated. 

The drama actually shows the uncommon benefits attached to educating a girl child. The 21^st National Women’s Conference gave out an inspirational awards to deserving awardees. The followings are the recipients. Muheebat Wonuola Folami, Mrs. Foluke Abdul Rasaq , Chief (Mrs.) Bunti Fatima Tinubu, Youth 2021 inspirational award Asisat Oshoala, Mrs. Foloshade Jaji (SSG), Hon Justice Kudirat kekere-Ekun, Dr. (Mrs) Faosat Adetokunbo Dabiri.

Speaking with iconblazemagazine online Mrs Temitope Daniyan who represented Her Excellency the wife of Governor of Ondo State, she says that she has Learnt, and re-learnt from the salient submissions made thus far from various speakers who have at the 21^st National women’s conference at Eko Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suite, adding that she would be pleasant to hand over undiluted summary of the COWLSO women’s conference to her principal the first lady of Ondo State Mrs. Akeredolu. 

Speaking further with iconblazemagazine online the representative of the first lady of Ondo State Mrs Akeredolu states that all other first ladies of the remaining 35, states should emulate the wife of Arakunrin Akeredolu for providing ICT, solar packages training for some thousands of woman whom have benefited from different modules of skills acquisitions training adding that after their training that they are assisted with startup kits and tools and as well as grants. She says that women should stop pulling down their fellow women rather they should begin to see themselves as one indivisible Family that God have brains to rule the affairs of humanity positively. 

She says that women should not only be singers at political  rallies as earlier stated by the special guest of Honour Arakunurin Akeredolu Governor, Ondo State who stated that women, should not only be singers of political events rather, they the women should form all important associations that would position them from taking over from men who have never led this country Nigeria properly since 61 years ago the 21^st national woman’s conference 2021 assembled some egg head, as panelists to discuss the menace of drug abuse, child abuse et’al and of a truth these panelist did not disappoint the large audience with their cerebral submissions. 

Dr. Yoland Greorge David servant in-charge of Auntlandas Bethol Foundation made pragmatic analysis, of submission, of how all of these bad vices could be curtailed from the victims and one David Folanni also did Extremely well his submission of his ideas and ideals of how there menace would be tackled by experts so that those involved in the ugly and bad vices would be rehabilitate for the good of the victims and the society at large as the 21^st national women’s conference wore on some Lagos state ministry of health staffers mounted the stage and displayed aerobic exercise for all and sundry in the hall and of a truth the aerobic exercise actually turned out to be very useful to them. 

Dr. Olaleye spoke on cancer management as he sadly informed the audience that every one hour person dies of cervical cancer, he said that the cure of cancer is early detection is the rightful protection. He said that virgins could not be affected with cervical cancer hence the virgins have never had sexual intercourse with men.
