Oredo Local Government Area Honours Oredo Queens

Speaking as the Head of Departments of Social Developments of Oredo Local Government Area, Kings Square, Ring Road, Benin City, Edo State.
Mrs. Margaret Alegbe states that she gives all the honours glory, praises, adorations to God Almighty father for the uncommon blessings bestowed on the Oredo Queens Football club for clinching the Gold cup of the Edo State Executive Governor 18th Edition of Sporting outing for females adding that the Ag Chairman Mr. Kensington Usifo JP has pleasantly wish to honour the Oredo Queens with a grand reception.
Speaking further to the gathering she states that the tournament was keenly contested by all teams that participated in the 18th Edition of the Edo State Executive Governor Gold Cup adding that she gives praises to God for their outstanding successes.
Speaking further, she says that Oredo Queens never lost any match while the tournament lasted as she added again that Oredo Queens played five matches, she won four matches and drew one.
She states that the AG chairman Mr. Usifo did support her and her team with all the trappings the tournament needed as she lavishes praises to the coaches and players who were determined to win despite all the challenges they faced adding that Ag. Chairman Mr. Usifo did pleasantly support them with words of encouragements while the tournament lasted.
Speaking to the gathering the AG Chairman Mr. Usifo states that when the news broke that Oredo Queens had won the Gold Cup adding that he was taken back because he never knew that team would go thus far to clinch the gold medal. He had wished them to win bronze medal.
He commended the head of Department Social Mrs. Alegbe for all hard works she employed when the tournament lasted.
He says that he hails from Ehor town where the grand finale match was played at Ehor Grammar School Football pitch, Ehor of Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Edo State He says that he is pleasantly gladdened that Oredo Queens made him and the entire staffers of Oredo Local Government Area to the glory of God.
He unimaginably showered cash gifts to the players and their coaches. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the head coach of Oredo Queens Dickson Igbiguosa states that his team came atop at the just concluded 18th Edition of the Edo State Executive Governor Tournament which took place at Ehor Grammar School, Football Pitch Ehor in Uhunmwode Local Government Area, Edo State adding that they would be looking forward for future tournaments before the end of year 2021.
He says that his players would be training regularly so as to keep fit for any future engagements adding that they are looking forward to participate in the tournament that Youths Sports for Federation of Nigeria shall be organizing in honour of Vice Admiral Mike Okhai Akhigbe RTD which shall be coming up in December, 2021 and as well as Oba Ewuare II Tournament and Chief Naval Staff.
He thanks the Acting Chairman and HOD Social Mrs. Alegbe for the opportunities offered them to be part of the success story.
Speaking to the audience the Captain of the Oredo Queens Amos Iheoma states that she and her team mates would eternally remain grateful to the powers that be of Oredo Local Government Area for the golden opportunities that offered them.
