POLITICIANS ARE SOMETHING ELSE -- FIRST LADY, MRS. OBASEKI

Speaking as the Special Guest of Honour the First Lady of Edo State Mrs. Betsy Obaseki states that politicians are something else adding that politicians do not have the love of down trodden masses in their hearts. She publicly stated that she is very gladdened that her husband will not run for elective position so soon thereby she has to speak out the truths to all and sundry. 

She made this known to the audience at the grand reception of Barr. Mrs. Ifueko Erie Alofokhai at Edo Motel, G.R.A., Benin City, Edo State. Speaking further to the uncommon gathering of the crème-de-la-crème of Edo State leaders of thoughts that have pleasantly gathered to rejoice with Barr. Mrs. Alofokhai who was sworn-in as a newly appointed Permanent Secretary in the Service of Edo State Civil Services. She says that her spouse the Executive Governor of the State and his loyal Deputy Governor of the State Obaseki and Rt. Hon/Comrade Philip Shaibu have really done well by appointing Barr. Mrs. Alofokhai as a Permanent Secretary. 

She says that Barr. Mrs. Alofokhai has uncommon pedigree who has proved her mettles in the past judging from the past antecedents. She says that Edo State has taken the position of Lagos as a centre of Excellence because the Chief Security Officer (CSO) Obaseki has been working pragmatically to make sure that the dividends of democracy reach all and sundry in Edo State. She says that Edo people are great peoples in the world histories adding that Edo State is a great State, Nigeria is a great Nation, Africa is a great continent and that has a slogan MEGA-Make Edo Great Again and Nigeria is MENA-Make Nigeria Great Again. 

She wishes the newly appointed Permanent Secretary God wisdom, protection, guide, guard et’al. speaking to the audience the Attorney General of the State Barr. Wole Iyamu SAN states that he calls the newly appointed Permanent Secretary as (if) adding she has proved to all and sundry in the past that she is equal to the task of the assignments the state government has entrusted to her table adding that she has uncommonly performed very superlatively at her last appointments. He says that he is quite sure that Barr. Mrs. Alofokhai will not fret the confidence repose in her just like that. 

Speaking to the audience the Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Roland Asoro who also stood in for the speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Marcus Onubun states that Barr. Mrs. Afolakhai the newly appointed Permanent Secretary is a committed, dedicated, honest, hard working et’al administrator who knows her pedigree properly for the benefits of the down trodden masses in the state. 

Speaking further to the gathering the honourable Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly Hon. Asoro states that the newly appointed Permanent Secretary Bar. Mrs. Alofokhai Esq has in past demonstrated high sense of discharging her duties creditably most especially when she was the arrow head at the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adding that he actually believes that she will discharge her duties purposefully without qualms. 

Speaking to the audience the celebrant herself Barr. Mrs. Alofokhai states that more 10 times she has held back her tears from flowing openly because she never for once planned for the grand reception accorded her by some of her bosom friends who never put her in the know when the plans were hatched. 

She states that she is really overwhelmed with the caliber of personages that graced her grand reception as a newly appointed Permanent Secretary adding that after the inauguration ceremony at the Government House, that she went home to celebrate the uncommon tidings with her family members and few friends of hers. 

Speaking further to the audience she says that surprisingly a phone call was put across to her to come over to Edo Motel, G.R.A., Benin City, for a surprised grand reception in her honour adding that with herself in the first instance. 

She says that she has to thank the State Governor Mr. Obaseki uncommonly for always believing in her, always saddle her with appointments from time to time. 

She thanked the entire Edo peoples for the confidence they repose in her and finally she prays to her maker Almighty Yahweh to give her uncommon wisdom to carry on her duties as permanent secretary effectively, efficiently, pragmatically, assiduously, tenaciously et’al so that the down trodden mases shall be the greatest beneficiaries of her services to the state.
