The Alagas Hold Maiden Edition of World Alaga Day

Speaking as the National President of the Nigerian Association of Alagas Morohunke Aduke Sewoniku states that the maiden edition of World Alaga Day has taken the planning committee members some good deal of sleepless nights adding that the maiden edition of World Alaga Day has gathered all Alagas from Nigeria and Diaspora at White Stone Event Centre, New Oregun, Industrial Estate, Ikeja, Lagos.

Speaking further to the gathering she states that she is overwhelmingly gladdened that all the Alagas have finally gathered themselves under one umbrella as a united family with uncommon purposes adding that the maiden edition of world Alaga Day will definitely highlight the pros and cons of the Alaga Industry. 

Speaking further to the audience, she states that she did begin Alaga traditional wedding compere in the 1978 adding that she has garnered lots of experiences from the industry. 

The Alaga Industry with the theme (Traditional wedding compere, celebration of culture and ceremony as she states that Alaga Industry has come a long way for the purposes of joining Brides and Grooms as Husbands and Wives. 

She pleasantly and unimaginably prayed for the Glory of Almighty Yahweh to continually shine upon them. Speaking as the Coordinator Professional traditional wedding compere and as well as Managing Director of Tokotaya Mrs Titilayo Adegboye states that they have all gathered at the white Stone Event Centre, New Oregun, Industrial Estate, Ikeja, Lagos to celebrate the Alaga Industry as the maiden Edition of World Alaga Day adding that Alaga Industry is an entertainment industry that has in the past years cementing Traditional Engagements and marriages with which families have been uncommonly blessed with good children. 

Speaking further to the gathering, she states that Alaga Industry is an important aspect of the society adding that any engagements or traditional wedding(s) without Alaga, she enthused that the engagement(s) or traditional wedding(s) are not complete. She proudly praised all and sundry that participated in the maiden edition of World Alaga Day as she uncommonly gave kudos to those that traveled down all the way from United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, United States of America et al. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Emezuru Ndigbo in Nigeria Ohaneze Youth Forum, Garikwa of Matasa, Nigeria, Prince Yemisi Adedoyin Shyllon states that he pleasantly and proudly covered over 31 cultural festivals both in Nigeria and West Africa adding that Alaga Industry has uniquely blessed him because through the Alaga Compering experimentations he concurs that he has met with the shakers and movers of the crème-de-la crème of the society. He states that Alaga Industry is thriving industry that puts bread and butter on the tables of the compere(s).

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, Olori Bisi aka Totoola, and as well as Lady Bisto, the coordinator of Alagas from Ibadan, Oyo States that Alaga Industry plays a very important roles in the lives of both men and women whom they the (Alagas) compere their engagements and traditional weddings with pomps and pageantries. She states that the Alaga acts as the spokesperson between the family of bride and groom of they the Alagas Cement the huge successes of the ceremony. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the President of the Association of Professional Wedding Engagement Cordinators of Nigeria, United Kingdom, Mrs Oluwakemi Sewoniku states that through Alaga Industry, that people in Diaspora have been adequately and well informed that Nigeria has one of the best culture in the entire world adding that even the white people in the United Kingdom have shown so much love and interest with the manner with which they compere engagements and traditional weddings in their view. 

She states that the maiden edition of World Alaga Day has tremendously recorded uncommon attendance with members from far and near, but, she also suggested that their second edition of world Alaga Day should be hosted in a more spacious venue, because she advised that White Stone Event Centre is really, really too small for large crowds that participated at the glarmours, unique, memorable, exciting, captivating, breathtaking and vivacious world Alaga Day. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Kogi State born Alaga extraordinare funmistic celebration from United Kingdom and as well as Lady Diamond Cacus states that she is extremely and exceedingly happy to have attended the maiden edition of world Alaga Day, adding that Alaga Industry has really blessed her and her Co-Alagas in the Diaspora. She states that in the past when a Nigerian in Diaspora wanted to have an engagement or Traditional wedding that they used to travel back to Nigeria for the ceremony. 

Speaking further she states that all those hassles have now been settled for good since there are Alagas based in the Diaspora. She says that the maiden edition of world Alaga Day recorded huge turnout of members but, again, she noted the venue of the gathering is too small for the crowds that showed up. Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline, the local organizing committee Chairperson, Alhaja Shukurat Titilayo Onitire states that they the (Alagas) have gathered themselves to celebrate with one another adding that they have gathered to tell the whole world the roles of Alagas at engagements and traditional wedding. 

Speaking further, she says that they have gathered to tell people that they the (Alagas) are very important in all sphere of life. She says that the brain behind the maiden edition of world Alaga Day is to let the entire globe be heavily informed that they the Alagas are very important in the handling of traditional weddings or marriages adding that they wrote letters to the Governors of South West States for all manner of supports and encouragements, she states the Federal and State government should accord them recognitions with national honors like OFR, MON et’al. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Governor of Association of Professional Engagement and comperes Ekiti State, Mrs Akanbi Tansatic states that the government should support them within the granting of financial assistance which will enable them to train their members from time to time. 

She states that Alaga job is one big job that uncommonly teaches the people the cultural heritage of any given community adding that their gathering at white stone event centre is for them to learn from the veterans in the industry as she also added that Alaga is culturally entertainment industry that teaches all and sundry to behave or conduct themselves at all given time. 

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline, Prophetess Olatokunbo, the Chief Executive Officer of Precious Moments states that all colours are pleasing except black adding that the maiden edition of world Alaga Day is to enable them to ask questions from the veterans and as well as show more love to themselves. 

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline, Dr Adebayo of Ekiti state stated that she is so happy, she is fulfilled because this is the day Almighty Yahweh have made adding that people came from all over the world to attend because they are joining grooms and brides together for the continuity of human existence. 

She states that people see them as role models. The maiden world Alaga Day witnessed a drama presentation with which the audience is entertained. The event also had an interactive session which also proved to be very exciting and all that. The event also witnessed awards to both the living and dead members for the glamorous roles they have thus far played in Alaga industry. 

The event also had a wonderful and breathtaking dinner gig of which the father of the day is Apagun Shamsideen Awopeju.
