350 HIS Cards Given To Lagos Island Residents

The Residents of Lagos Island Local Government Area have pleasantly and uncommonly benefitted from the Health Insurance Scheme sponsored by Hon. Dolopa Enitan Badru a member of Federal House of Representatives representing Lagos island Federal constituency one as the distribution of Health Insurance Access Cards to the residents of Lagos Island at Waslat Primary School, Cole Street, Olowogbowo, Lagos Island, Lagos. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the immediate past vice chairman of the Lagos Island Local Government Area and presently the Financial Adviser to the current Executive Chairman of the Lagos Island Local Government Area, Hon. Wadood Bashorun states that the programmes of the distribution of Health Insurance Access Cards to the Residents is a very laudable one that Hon Badru has pragmatically and objectively rendered to the residents adding that this is the seventh programmes for this year 2022. 

He states that health is wealth as everyone needs good facilities for the treatment of health related issues adding that two months ago he Badru did give out some empowerment streaks to the electorate of Lagos Island and the items given out are hairdressing facilities sewing machines et’al. He states that he has known Hon Badru for over 25 years ever since he Bashorun was a councilor (1991-1993) when Prince Adele Adeniyi was the Executive Chairman of Lagos Island adding that the Federal Government has a health Insurance Scheme package which covers the father, mother and four children of the family which did begin some few years ago. 

He states that the Health Insurance Scheme Hon Badru has sponsored qualifies the access card holder the opportunities to get treated when such a person takes ill and that there has to be ample publicity about health insurance schemes facilities available for the common good of all and sundry. He states that Hon. Badru is one man that has a large heart to touch the less priviledge people within the society. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, councilor representing ward A3 Lagos Island Local Government Area Hon. Davies Qudus Adisa states that Hon. Badru is a blessed son of Lagos Island LGA who has largely been an instrument of change agent to the electorate of Lagos Island LGA adding that this distribution of access cards to the residents of Lagos Island Local Government Area is a heavy benefits to them because health is wealth they say. 

He states that about 350 of Access cards have been distributed to the residents and that of a truth, they cover a day born baby to 60 years old residents adding that the residents are praying to God to continually protect and provide for Hon. Badru. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, Lagos Island Antisans Secretary Saka Bolakale Ibrahim states that he had already prepared an appreciative speech to render in praise of Hon. Badru who has continually be of a heavy support to the yearnings and aspirations of Lagos Island Artisans, but, because of no time, the written appreciative speech is not read adding that Hon. Badru has supported them financially and morally. 

Speaking further he states that they paid a courtesy visit to him only two days ago and of a truth he received them most honorably. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, woman leader ward B3 Shelle-Modinat Aromide one of the beneficiaries of the sponsored distribution of Access card for health insurance scheme states that she is really gladdened to be captured with the Health Insurance Scheme Empowerment and she prays for Hon. Badru for God’s protection. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline ward C3 Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC) Opa Yewande one of the beneficiaries states that she is very happy for the programme done for them the residents of Lagos Island Local Government Area by their amiable member of Federal House of Representatives representing Lagos Island Federal Constituency One Hon. Badru. 

Speaking to the gathering the Medical Personnel representative of Betta Health and Hygeia HMO, Omeoga Chisom Precious states that people should not engage themselves with self medication therapy adding that whenever they are not feeling fine that they should visit a proper medical facility for proper medical examination so that the right treatment would be diagnosed by a qualified Medical Doctor. She states that people should engage themselves in regular exercises because regular exercise do help in improving one’s health. 

She states that people should practice healthy life style because health is wealth adding that the year a person is born should be used as password for the operation of the access card of the health insurance scheme. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Council Leader Hon. Ajose Olaiwola Hakeem of Lagos Island Local Government Area states that the programme is a good one as health is very important to human well being adding that Hon. Badru has pleasantly and uncommonly been rendering selfless empowerment index to the residents of Lagos island Local Government Area as he prays to God to continually protect him with good health et’al.
