The Future Belongs To The Youths – Hon. Omosede Igbinedion

Speaking at her living room at Golf Course Street, G.R.A., Benin City, Edo State to members of Ovia Comrades community who paid a courtesy visit to her, she pleasantly states that the future belongs to the youths adding that the youths have lots of responsibilities in their hands to acknowledge the leadership streaks of occupying the position of better decision made for the public good of all and sundry.

Speaking further to the group, she states that she believes in entrepreneurship streak using her biological father Sir. Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion, the Esama of Benin Kingdom and of the whole universe who started from humble beginnings adding that her father has successfully established businesses here and there. She asked of her father who lost his own parents at a tender age could still weather the storms and eventually succeeded in owning various brands of businesses such as Okada Air, Igbinedion University, Independent Television et’ al. 

And again, she queried if her father could be so successful, why will the youths of today keep scramming that the government is not doing enough for the citizenry. She graphically narrated to the group her antecedents while she was a member of Federal House of Representatives at the Green Chambers of NASS, Abuja when she represented the Ovia Federal Constituency.

 

She states that she desires to still contest for the same position come 2023 general elections adding that if she is elected that all the projects she had earlier on started  work on shall be progressively pursued to logical conclusion.

 

Speaking to members of Ovia Comrades Community, she states that the issue of security in the land is very, very, very bad adding that the so- called Fulani Herdsmen do not ravage people’s rights, but that terrorists are the ones ravaging various communities in the body polity. She states that recently, she did speak to the chairman of ECOWAS where two female students of University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State and Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State and Igbinedion Univesity, Okada, Edo State became beneficiaries, of the exchange programmes.

 

She largely appreciated the group that paid her courtesy visit assuring them that by the grace of Almighty Yahweh, when elected to the green chambers of NASS that all the necessary dividends of democracy shall be provided for all and sundry that they should go out pragmatically to speak to all youths of voting age to be fully registered with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for PVCs adding that without pvc, such electorate shall not cast his or her vote.

 

She states that while she was at the green chamber of NASS that her seat was on the fourth roll while the present APC representative for Ovia Federal Constituency sits at the last roll of chamber and also a grade C committee member, stating further that if she is elected come 2023, she would lobby for grade A committee membership.

 

Speaking as the president of Ovia Comrades Community, Edionwe Givens states that they have objectively studied the track records of Hon. Igbinedion while she served at the green chambers of NASS adding that because of her uncommon attraction of dividends of democracy that they decided to formally endorse her to still go back to the green house to represent the Ovia Federal Constituency.

 

Speaking in the same vein, the Vice President of Ovia Comrades Community Comrade David Ekwe stated that Hon. Igbinedion is a God-given gift to the entire Ovia Federal Constituency, Edo State and Nigeria generally adding that all the youths and other electorate shall pleasantly cast their votes for Hon. Igbinedion when the 2023 general elections finally dawn on the citizenry.

 

Speaking to the group, an aid to Hon. Igbinedion, Osadiaya Eseosa stated that the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Federal Level had wickedly and inhumanly abandoned the university educational system adding that the current ASSU strike has affected many undergraduates who would be rounding off their programmes but again, he stated that APC administration at the federal level does not give a haute. He states that People’s Democratic Party (PDP) should be voted for when the 2023 election comes up.
