ASUEN EMERGES AS APC EDO SOUTH SENATORIAL ZONE CANDIDATE COME 2023

Mr. Valentine Asuen on a Saturday May 28th, 2022 emerges as All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Edo South Senatorial District come 2023 general elections. Asuen picks up the ticket with a total votes of 216 while his opponent His Excellency former Deputy Governor of Edo State Lucky Imasuen came out a very distant second with votes of 158. The total numbers of delegates are 384 from seven Local Government Areas, which are Oredo Local Government Area, Egor Local Government Area, Ovia North East Local Government Area, Ovia South West Local Government Area and others are Ikpoba-Okha, Orhionmwon and the last, but, not the least is Uhunmwonde.

 

When all the delegates have cast their votes for their choice of aspirant, the returning officer Dr. Francis Omoh and his team counted all the votes cast in the full view of all and sundry and all the votes cast stood at 379. Then proper counting therefore did begin and during the course of proper counting four votes are voided and five delegates are absent. The returning officer a politician and astute businessman declared Asuen the winner of the Edo South Senatorial Zone APC Primary election with total numbers of votes 216.

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline, Asuen the winner states that he dedicates his sweet victory to Almighty Yahweh, APC party leaders, APC party members and above all to all the youths of Edo South Senatorial Zone adding that the journey has not been a smooth ride in the last four months whereby he and his campaign hands have to canvass for supports from all the seven Local Government Areas of Edo South Senatorial Districts.

 

Speaking further with iconblazemagazineonline, Chief Tony Adun a.k.a. Kabaka, the youth leader of APC Edo State, states that the sweet victory of Asuen is entirely for all the youths adding the youths should go out and aim themselves with PVCs which shall enable them to cast their votes nicely and properly come 2023 general elections.

 

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline the returning officer Dr. Omoh states that the APC primary election for Edo State Senatorial Zone is very free and fair adding that the delegates conducted themselves in a very understanding manner with a high level of discipline and industry.

The indoor Sports Hall of University of Benin, Ugbowo Campus, Benin City, Edo State played host to APC primary election for Edo South Senatorial District.
