Peace is the Fulcrum of Developments – ANC Odion

Speaking as the Assistant National Commandant in charge of Establishment and Recruitment of the Peace Corps of Nigeria at the Premise of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State Council, Oba Oguola Press Centre, NO 1, Reservation Road, G.R.A, Benin City, Edo State, Mutairu Habib Odion States that Peace is the fulcrum of developments adding that the Peace Corps of Nigeria is marking the United Nations Peace Corps Day with a road walk as a tool of sensitizing the entire society the heavy essence of co-existence of all and sundry.

Speaking further, he stated that the theme of this year Peace Corps celebration is Build Peace, Not Racism adding that the whole essence of their road walk is to purely come to the Premise of NUJ Edo State Council is to keep the entire citizenry to be largely informed that Peace is the only tool that keeps away all bad bloods flowing in the veins of all those who canvass for troubles regularly. 

Responding to the presentations made available to the leadership of Edo State Council, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Chairman of the Union comrade Festus Alenkhe States that the union members are to largely tow the golden paths of peace because it is the only tool that makes life and developments more meaningful and advantageous to the society adding that the general elections of 2023 is very much around the corner. 

He says that as the general elections draw nearer that all the stake holders should tow the paths of reaching at peaceful resolutions at all given times adding that the present war going on between Russia and Ukraine is not necessary because many innocent lives and property have been heavily sent to their early graves and as well as property destroyed as a result of heavy shelling of destructive weapons from both sides. 

Speaking further to the members of Peace Corps of Nigeria, the Chairman of NUJ Edo State Council Comrade Alenkhe assured them that the pen pushers of the union will adequately disseminate the news to all nooks and crannies of Edo State and as well as globally.


He commended the leadership of the Peace Corps of Edo State for their worthy initiatives sanitizing the entire society of the needs of living peaceful at all times. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the Edo State Commandant of Peace Corps of Nigeria Eigbadon Franklyn states that every 21st of September has been set aside by the United Nations to mark the Peace Corps Day so that all stakeholders will be heavily informed of the usefulness of living together in peace at all times because peaceful co-existence generates uncommon and healthy developments in all nooks and crannies.
