DEAF SPORTS SHOULD BE MADE PERMANENT IN NIGERIA-DR AIMUFUA

Speaking as the Head Coach of Deaf Sports Edo State at the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Oguola Press Centre No I, Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion Road, GRA, Benin City, Edo State Dr. Sunny Aimufua states that Deaf Sports should be made permanent in Nigeria adding that the Ministry of Sports, Youths and Developments should pragmatically made the said deaf sports all inclusive at the Ministry. 

Speaking further the Head Coach Dr. Aimufua states that the deaf sports gives them joys and happiness as they cannot be employed by the banks and other cooperate bodies adducing that these men and women in deaf sports are married as he also added they have children who go to schools hence they need monies to pay school fees and other utilities bills. He states that they really wish the powers that be to objectively and effectively include the members deaf sports in the schemes of policies. 

Speaking further to the Leadership of NUJ Edo State Council the Head Coach of Deaf Sports Dr. Aimufua states that Deaf Sports should be included in the forth coming Delta 2022 National Sports Festival and National Youths Games in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

Responding to all they stated to the Leadership of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Edo State Council the Vice Chairman Comrade Imelda Osanyande who stood in for the Chairman Comrade Festus Alenkhe assured the group that the pen professionals would adequately address their demands for the powers that be to attend to their demands in right proportions. In their placards they wrote “Deaf are Human Beings so treat us as One” “Minister of Sports should please come to our rescue”
