MWAN Concludes Her 45^th AGM, SC in A Grand Style

The Medical Women Association of Nigeria Lagos State Branch has pleasantly and uncommonly concluded her 45^thAnnual General Meeting and Scientific Conference with the theme MaintainingHealth and Health Security in Economically Challenging Times” which kicked off on Wednesday 30^th November to Thursday, December I^st, 2022 at the LASCOM GLASS HOUSE, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital LASUTH Ikeja Lagos. In a grand style.

 

The wrapping up of the 45^th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Medical Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch witnessed unprecedented activities which in included panel discussions, technical papers presentations by various presenters, and as well as the speakers who did speak to the eclatic audience through virtual applications, of a truth the various speakers made usefully contributions to the subject matter which devilled on what to be done to discourage medical practitioners from migrating for overseas greener pastures. 

And, again, the panelists did not disappoint the audience with their lucid and cerebral submissions of their ideas and ideals towards the subject matter Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline Consultant Hematologist Dr. Lucky okpetu who represented the Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Ebute Metta, lagos Dr. Adedamola Dada states that the 45^thAnnual. General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria Lagos State Branch has actually done well with the kinds of activities they have lined up in  discharging their core values to their members and general public at large. 

Speaking further Dr. Okpetu states that he is not in the support of medical practitioners migrating out of the republic adding that the unprecedented insecurity streaks in the land has equally compelled many medical practitioners to seek for greener pastures overseas. He states that if the federal government and state governments could adequately take care of the medical personnel in all ramifications that no one medical practitioner would like to migrate to foreign nations. 

He adduces that if there are meaningful apparatuses provided for the medical practitioners in the lands by the powers that be, that the medical personnel have always perform their duties with love, mien and candour. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the Assistance Director Ministry of Defence Dr. Maazikah Timson who is serving at the Naval Doctrine Command Victoria island, Lagos and also a member of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of the MWAN, Lagos State Branch states that the two days of 45^th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference has paradigmatically imparted all and sundry that participated adding that the various speakers have largely educated the participants with new medical discoveries etc. Speaking further she says that the government must as a matter of seriousness, that the Insecurity, banditry, kidnapping, crimes, unemployment’s, etc  must be adequately addressed head long so that medical practitioners and the general public should be happy to live and render their services for the general public good. 

She further enthuses that the 45^thAnnual General Meeting and Scientific Conference of the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, Lagos State Branch has pragmatically, objectively, efficiently and assiduously raised the bar that those medical practitioners should largely come back home to contribute their learned skills so that the society would be heavily improved in all fronts. 

The Honorable Commissioner of Health of the Ministry of Health of the Lagos state government Prof. Akin Abayomi delivered the keynote address through a senior Medical Director of his ministry and of truth the representative of the hon. Commissioner of Health did not disappoint the uncommon crowds with her presentations. 

The President of MWAN, Lagos state branch Dr. Ibironke Sodeinde constantly stood in the gap therefore making assurance double sure that the Ts and Is are properly checked. Awards and certificates of participation are awarded to keynote speaker and panelists while others received certificates. 

The President Elect and the Chairperson of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) Dr. Ige took time off to call out all the members of the LOC for the 45^th Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conferences 2022 of MWAN and profusely. She commended them for all the uncommon roles they all played to make sure the event recorded Unimaginable results.
