PROF (MRS) OLUBOR DELIVERS 276 IN THE INAUGURAL LECTURE SERIES OF THE UNIVERSITY OF BENIN

Professor (Mrs.) Roseline Olubor has pleasantly and eruditely delivered 276 in the Inaugural Lecture Series of the University of Benin, Ugbowo Campus at the Akin Deko Auditorium, University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State with the topic “Education Resources As A Source of Societal Inequalities concern of the Educational Planner”. 

And of truth the Professor of Educational Planning, Prof (Mrs.) Olubor did not disappoint the uncommon crowds that gathered at the Akin Deko Main Auditorium, Ugbowo Campus, University of Benin, Benin City with her cerebral styles of deliveries. 

Speaking to the audience Prof (Mrs.) Olubor states that all levels of educations are very important to the society adding that attention needs to be paid to pre-primary education heavily. Speaking further Prof (Mrs.) Olubor states that there has to be open and clean methods of enrolling students into schools, regardless their gender adding that education is the bed rock of terminating poverty et’al. 

Accordingly Prof (Mrs.) Olubor noted that there is heavy inequalities in the entire educational system of the Republic adding that some drastic measures needed to be put in place by the educational planner so as to halt the inequalities within the system. 

Speaking further to the audience Prof (Mrs.) Olubor states that 15% of the constituency allowances or allocations to politicians should be deployed into financing pre-primary education of the constituents adding that lots of advantages are to be gained from educating all and sundry. 

Speaking as the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Benin-City, Edo State to the audience Prof. Lilian Imuetinyan Salami states that the 276 in the Inaugural Lecture Series is the 48th one since she became the Vice Chancellor, Six in the institute of education and as well as the third in the department of educational planning. Prof. Salami did goad all and sundry to pay adequate attention to the Inaugural Lecturer Prof (Mrs.) Olubor because she has lots of take aways for education planner. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline Hon. Justice Otabor Olubor OFR, Former President of Customary Court of Appeal, Edo State and as well as the amiable husband of Prof (Mrs.) Olubor, the Inaugural Lecturer. He states that he feels very happy and impressed that his spouse has delivered a wonderful lectures adding that his spouse works very hard. 

Speaking again, he states that his spouse has to slow down the pace of work, so that she can even have time for herself and the children adding that he is not suggesting that she should half working, but, rather she should lower the tempo. 

Speaking further he says that inequalities have been deftly highlighted in the lecture adding that most them who are now in their seventies cannot complain because when they were growing up education was virtually free adding that education is no more free and the inequalities are so pronounced adducing that the commoners of the society are suffering and that the government should seriously wade into the matters, so that the disparity between the haves and haves not could be managed accordingly. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, Prof.  (Mrs.) Olubor states that there are no education resources adducing that schools should be established first. And that there should be school marking exercise to see how schools are allocated and then by to establish school where there are lacking. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the Former Group Managing Director of NNPC Engr. Gaius Jackson Obaseki states that he is a family friend to the Olubors hence he did decide to attend the Inaugural Lecture delivered by Prof. (Mrs.) Olubor adding that the Inaugural Lecture is really wonderful. Speaking further he says that everybody must not be a Professor but, having quality education is very necessary adding that his educations have given him good and successful career as an engineer.
