POLITICS I WILL NOT ENRICH MYSELF, FAMILY MEMBERS WITH PUBLIC FUNDS IF ELECTED IN EDO 2024 AS GOVERNOR—COMRADE OSOMWEGIE

Speaking to the members of the fourth estate of the realm at the Edo State Labour Party Secretariat, Ogbelaka Street, Benin City, Comrade Stephen Ogbemudia Osomwegie states that he and his family members will not enrich themselves with public funds if he is elected as the Governor of Edo State come 2024. Speaking further he states that he has purely and practically visited the Edo State Labour Party Secretariat for the purposes of consulting with the leaders of the party adding that he has really, really held a very useful deliberations with the leaders so as to largely put them in the know of his yearnings and aspirations of clinching the gubernatorial position come November 2023. 

Accordingly Comrade Osomwegie critically informed that the electorate should say No to career politicians, but, that they choose competence, credibility, character, capacity, commitment and integrity adding that 2024 Labour Party ticket Edo State Governorship Election shall heavily be a new direction for all Edo citizenry. 

He added that as an international businessman that if elected  as the governor of Edo State come 2024 that he would critically pull all the Edo persons in diaspora to come back home to invest their huge wealth of expertise in Edo State that youth unemployment. He added that he would practically solve the hecks of insecurity in the land as he adduces that peace is the fulcrum of developments in any given society. He added that he would largely invest into Agricultural projects whereby a huge chunk of the youths shall be gainfully engaged for productiveness and fruitfulness.

Comrade Osomwegie states that he would purely invest into sports where by the youths would be made to pursue their God’s given talents to the fullest thereby earn a living through it. Comrade Osomwegie categorically informed the newsmen that he would run an open door policies and as well as transparent style of governance if elected come 2024. 

Speaking to the media men the chairman, Edo State Labour Party Comrade Kelly Ogbaloi states that Comrade Osomwegie and his supporters visited the leaders of the party for purely consultation purposes adding that the leaders of the party have advised him to begin to engage with all relevant stakeholders from his ward, local government area et’al. He added that Labour Party has not done her primary election for the purposes of fielding in a candidate for Edo State 2024 adducing that the party delegates shall determine that.
