Edosa member representing Oredo West Constituency states that his campaign
mantra were on a tripod agenda adding that there were based on Education,
Security and Primary Health Care Services.
Speaking further with newsmen at his
office chamber he states that there has to be functional educational system for
his constituents adducing that education is the one of the best instruments
that can be given to any human being for effective developments, the security
issues have been on the front burner that needs to be tackled, because the
kidnapping matter has affected farmers very badly.Accordingly Hon (Dr.) Edosa
states that farmers do not go to their farms as a result of the menace of
kidnappers adducing that if the security issues are not adequately addressed, that
there would be shortage food in the open market. He concurs that there will be
heavy hungry in the land. Hon (Dr.) Edosa states that as the chairman house
committee on health informs that the state government has mapped out 500
primary health care services centres and that there are 250 functional primary
health care service centre in the state. He says that this 250 functional
primary health care services will create employment opportunities for medical
personnel like doctors, nurses, lab technologists, lab scientists, cleaners and
security men. Hon (Dr.) Edosa concurs that the present Eight Assembly of Edo
State is a rainbow and cerebra chamber adding that there is no opposition
streaks among them hence there are legislators from People’s Democratic Party
(PDP), All Progressives Congress (APC) and Labour Party (LP).
Hon (Dr.) Edosa
states that they exchange great ideas and ideals that would provide dividends
of democracy for the citizenry and as well as they are all working for the over
sight functions of the house of assembly. And, again, (Hon) Dr. Edosa states
that the Edo State House of Assembly is peopled with seven lawyers and one
medical doctor. He says that issues of federal roads that link up to Edo State
are in terrible situations adding that they the legislators have invited the personnel
of FERMA to explain to them what are the hassles all the federal roads linking
up Edo State are heavily dilapidated. He
says that the FERMA personnel honoured their invitation and that they gave
useful explanations adducing that works shall commence soonest on the
rehabilitation exercise of the federal roads as he says that some palliatives
measures have begun at the dreaded Ovia Rivers.
He says that Edo State is the
economic hub of the republic because she links up to the East, West, North et’al.
Hon (Dr.) Edosa states that the Edo State House of Assembly has effectively and
objectively passed into law 23 people oriented laws in their first quarter of
the Eight Assembly. Still on federal roads matters he says that a friend of his
paged him asking him if he knows anybody that has square kilometers of land
around Ologbo axis of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Edo State. He said that
he also asked his friend the rational of his questions and he informed that his
friend needed a land along the express way or not too far from the road for
construction site adducing that the federal roads shall be attended to soonest.Speaking further to newsmen at his office chambers Hon (Dr.) Edosa stated that
he was a lecturer at the college of medicine at the University of Benin,
Ugbowo, Benin City, adding that he resigned his appointment from his employers
when he decided to run as a legislator for Oredo West Constituency at the Edo
State House of Assembly. Hon (Dr.) Edosa states that he has sponsored eye
surgery for one of his constituency member earlier this August, 2023 adding
that he is currently preparing to empower over 20 youths from Oredo West Constituency.
