ENCOUNTER SHAIBU HAS INALIENABLE RIGHTS TO ASPIRE TO ANY POSITIONS OF HIS CHOICE-IMASOGIE

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline at his living room Chief Etose Dickson Imasogie states that the present Deputy Governor of Edo State RT. Hon Philip Shaibu has inalienable rights to aspire to any position of his choice adding that the right of his aspirations desiring to be the next governor come November 12, 2024 should not have raised the unfortunate saga between him and his boss the Executive Governor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki. 

Speaking further Chief Imasogie states that all these sayings that Edo South Senatorial Zone is ruling for 16 years, Edo North Senatorial District has also called the shots for eight years at the Dennis Osadebe Avenue, G.R.A, Benin City and now it is the turn of the Edo Central Senatorial Zone to produce the next governor. He stated that all these sayings are mere beliefs that it is the delegate congress chooses who becomes what in any political settings adding that the immediate past president of the republic Muhammadu Buhari from the north ruled for eight years and that they said power should shift to the South. 

But, again, he avers that when the immediate past governors of Rivers State and now an appointed Federal Minister in charge of Abuja Wike indicated his aspirations to run for the presidency through his political party People’s Democratic Party (PDP) that the Northerns did not wish power to shift from the North. Chief Imasogie said he has so many friends from the Edo Central Senatorial Zone, but, that again, it is the delegates congress determine who becomes what in any political party. 

Chief Imasogie said that he could be considered as the father of PDP in Edo State adding that He and Late. Chief Tony Anenih, Late. Chief Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia and the Esama of the universe Chief/Sir/Dr. Gabriel Igbenedion brought PDP from Abuja in 1998 to Edo State. Chief Imasogie said that some persons who did not know how the party was nurtured are now the ones giving directives here and there. Chief Imasogie says that he can allow the party he breastfed to die like that adding that Edo 2024 only a united PDP can deliver.
