MILESTONES MAMA GOSPEL DEACONESS DR. OJEMUDIA WAS BORN A MUSLIM-PROF OBUH

Speaking to the congregations of Baptist Church and other well-wishers at the service of songs of Mama Gospel Deaconess (Dr.) Victoria Ojemudia at Gaius Obaseki Group of Schools, Mission Road, Benin City, Edo State Prof. Mike Obuh states that Mama Gospel Deaconess (Dr.) Ojemudia was born a Muslim adding that as she was growing up she later encountered Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour. Speaking further to the gathering Prof. Obuh states that he has titled his Sermon “ A well lived life in the presence of God” adding that he took his text from the books of (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14). 

He stated that a well lived life in the presence of God has standards, systems and ways and he averred that Mama Gospel Dr. Ojemudia possessed good qualities of fear and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as she worshipped the God of creations with all her souls, minds and strength. Prof. Obuh said that Mama Gospel Deaconess Dr. Ojemudia lived the kind of life Abel lived before his elder brother Cane wickedly murdered him because the favours of God Shone upon him. Prof Obuh said that longevity is nice, but, that it must be translated into a well lived life in the presence of God. 

He added that what matters most is the life a man lived in the presence of God because life generally counts on good life, riches, fear of God and keeping the commandments of God. He added that fear has positive and negative actions as the fear of God brings faithfulness and trusting in the Lord. Prof Obuh said Abel in (Genesis 4) presented his first fruits to God in obedience to God’s Commandments adding that Mama Gospel Deaconess Dr. Ojemudia had faith and trust in the Lord while she was alive as well as she also presented her tithes and offerings to her creator. He added that nobody is born a Christian, but, that somewhere along the line one encounters Christ. He also informed the audience that he, himself was born a Muslim, but, to the glory of Christ he is a faithful Christian and a heavy believer of God. 

The service of song of Mama Gospel Deaconess Dr. Ojemudia Princess (Mrs.) Ivie Betty Uwa-Igbinoba, Zonal Director of National Council for Arts and Culture rendered Oration in honour of Mama Gospel Deaconess (Dr.) Ojemudia in all Bini dialect. The Baptist Church Women performed drama series in honour of Mama Gospel Deaconess Dr. Ojemudia and the members of Joyous Mothers International led by their amiable President Evangelist Mrs. Joy Momoh in solidarity with their Matron Lady Tawa Woghiren were also in attendance of the service of songs.

The grand reception and social dance in honour of Mama Gospel Deaconess (Dr.) Ojemudia took place at the military base, Airport Road, Benin City and of a truth the grand reception and social dance gathered the Crème-De-La- Crème of the society. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline Eze Emeka Ugwuakome, Eze Igbo of Iru, Victoria Island, Lagos and as well as business man states that he flew into Benin City from Lagos to commiserate with the Ojemudias especially the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of First Marina adding that he has done businesses with them. 

Speaking further he states that he has arrived Benin City since two days because the children of Mama Ojemudia are his good friends adding that he has come to render his last respects to Mama Gospel adding that his advices to her children are step up to do more than great things than their mother did. He added that they should live in the fear of the Lord like their mother did while she was alive. Speaking again Eze Igbo of Iru, Victoria Island of Lagos State said that the issues of Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) are agitating for freedom because the nation is not moving in the right directions adding that there should be justice and equity and as well as the government should obey whatever the laws stipulate in the land. 

Eze Igbo of Iru, Victoria Island Lagos State said that the Judiciary as the last beacon of hope for the common man has to work assiduously hard  so that rule of law should be obeyed at  all given times adding that if the judiciary fails the entire republic has equally failed. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline one Chief DOB Wilfred the Ihama of Ike states that Mama Gospel Deaconess Dr. Ojemudia was an extremely amazon of unimaginable personage who has translated so many lives while she was alive adding that she was a leader in the family socially and politically. 


Speaking again Chief Wilfred states that he is the patron of the Merit Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Edo State Council in the last 15 years adding that he is also the Chairman Timber Management, Edo State and as well as the patron of Odua Peoples Congress (OPC) under the leadership of Chief Gani Adams. And, again the members of Joyous Mothers International (JMI) attended the grand reception and social dance for Mama Gospel Deaconess (Dr.) Ojemudia as a way of displaying solidarity to their Matron Lady Woghiren and Mama Gospel passed on to eternal glory at the age of 96 years old.
