NEWS EXTRA HE OBASEKI SINGLE HANDEDLY SPONSORED MEDIAN EDITION OF EDGACFA- HON. ERHUMWONSE

Speaking with IconblazeMagazineonline at Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Airport Road, Benin City Senior Special Adviser on religious matters to the Governnor of Edo State Mr. Godwin Obaseki and as well as the Chairman planning committee for the median edition of Edo State Gospel Art and Culture Festival and Awards Hounorable Osagie Godsent Erhumwonse states that His Excellency Obaseki has single handedly sponsored the median edition of Edo State Gospel Art and Culture Festival and Awards adding that the exercise has begun since one month ago. 

Speaking further, the SSA on religious matters to the Governor of Edo State and Chairman Planning committee of EDGACFA Hon Erhumwonse states that they are presently at Edo South Senatorial District for the auditioning of Talents Hunt from over 1,500 contestants adding that they have already carried out the same exercise at Edo North Senatorial District and Edo Central Senatorial Zone. 

In addition Hon Erhumwonse states that 13 winners each from the Edo North Senatorial District and Edo Central Senatorial District.

 He concurs that another 13 winners shall also emerge from Edo South Senatorial Zone and altogether there shall be 39 winners emerging from the Talent Hunt of the 3 Senatorial District. Accordingly Hon Erhunmwonse states that the 39 winners from all the 18 local government areas of Edo State shall Further be Reduce to 5 winners from the 3 Senatorial Zone bringing it to 15 winners. He added that there shall be 13 winners for consolation prizes which shall take place on October 13, 2023 at the same venue. 

He added that the star prize money is standing at 50 million naira only. he added that Jesus Christ is the one behind all of these projects as the church needs to tell the entire world that there are uncommon talents in the church as the body of Christ. He added that His Excellency Obaseki and Her Excellency, The First Lady of Edo State Mrs. Besty Obaseki have unimaginably passion for the youths of the state therefore they are creating positive platform to empower the youths thereby keeping them away from idleness, crimes, prostitution, drugs peddling, kidnaping etc. 

He added that Gospel Music is the best Music in the entire world regardless of what some musicians churn out as music which is not edifying to the glory of God. He also added that His Excellency Obaseki is a silent achiever who has done so much for the citizenry of Edo State. 

He agrees that the next Governor of Edo State come 2024 should be at disadvantage if he or she discontinues this Godly festival of talent hunt. Speaking with Iconblazemagazine online the secretary of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Edo State Reverend Mark Ovie states that the first ever Edo State Gospel Art and Culture Festival and Awards is purely to produce Godly Youths from the Body of Christ to the world adding that from this exercise lots of Youths will be heavily empowered with ideas, ideals and knowledge. 

He said that whoever clinches the star prize money should not derail from worshiping God, because it is God Himself who made it possible for such a winner to emerge out of over 5,000 contestants. 

He the chief Judge Reverend Peace Osaghale read out the rules and regulations of the auditioning exercise and of a truth the rules and regulations are adequately adhered to.

The 3 days auditioning exercise from 28 – 30 september, 2023 is heavily coordinated by pastor Mike Ituah.
