POLITICS EDO LG POLLS, POWER IS NOT GOTTEN ALA-CART-PRINCE ATSELEGHE

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the traditional head of Itseriric communities of Edo State Prince Johnson Atseleghe who voted at ward 10, unit 13 of Ologbo Duke Dom of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area states that the Edo State Local Government Poll which Edo state Independent Electoral Commission (EDSIEC) is the umpire has recorded unprecedented successes adding that EDSIEC personnel arrived at his polling unit at the right time with electoral materials. 

Speaking further Prince Atseleghe states that the turn out of the electorate is quite impressive adding that the EDSIEC personnel did begin their accreditation exercise of the electorate and that they voted block votes for People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for both Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates adducing that they are founding members of PDP. 

He avers that the Edo State Local Government Election is free, fair and credible adding that throughout the duration the said election lasted that peace rented the environment. He concurs that power is not gotten ala-cart because it is not served as a free pie rather political office seekers should pragmatically invest their energies, resources and apply heavy discipline and industry so that they will carry the electorate along. 

Speaking with  Iconblazemagazineonline Chief John Oshofu Ibokiti states that he is one of the community leaders and as well as a chieftain of PDP  at ward 10, Unit 13 of Ologbo Duke Dom Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State adding that EDSIEC personnel did arrive at his ward at the right time. He said that the electoral materials and other electoral processes are perfectly alright. He says that they all voted for PDP Candidates because they are the founding members of PDP when the republic returned to politics in 1999. 

He says that the electorate came out in large numbers and that the exercise is free, fair, peaceful and credible. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline Chief Isaac Omagbaluwage Ajatiton, the Olunotiti of Warri Kingdom a.k.a Agbonekuya states that he has just returned from Ajoki riverine polling units where he has personally gone to monitor the Edo State Local Government Polls as he adduces that the exercise is free, fair and credible although he averred that in all elections there must be dissenting voices of hates et’al as not all electorate will vote for one particular candidate. He, however did give vote of confidence for the EDSIEC workers on the field as they performed their tasks without fear or favour. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the PDP woman leader for the riverine areas of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Tessy Kokoh states that the Edo State Local Government Polls is unimaginably peaceful, free, fair and credible as the electorate turned out en-mass. 

She said that they voted for PDP Candidates because they are PDP members and family. Speaking further the woman leader states that her messages to the candidates of both chairman and councilor are that they should be people oriented and provide dividends of democracy for the toiling masses. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the Acting  President Itseriric National Youths Council  Edo State Chapter Tosan Nosa Ailodion states that the Edo States Local Government Poll organized by EDSIEC in Ologbo Duke Dom of Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, has been very free, fair, credible and peaceful as the electorate came out in large numbers to cast their votes for their preferred candidates for chairman and councilor adding that they voted for PDP candidates (Dr. Eric Osayande) who when he did his campaigns of Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area never said that (I will do this or that when voted in, rather I will continue from where I stopped at my first tenure). And, again, he said that there has been celebrations at the hotel of the councillorship candidate is a grass rooted politician and he carries the youths along. 

Speaking further Ailodion states that the era of chairman cornering all the allocations of the council to himself, his families and cronies are gone adding that this time around they the chairmen will be critically and closely monitored by the citizenry. Ailodion spoke with Iconblazemagazineonline at Ohen Primary School Ologbo where there are units 1,2,3,4,5,6 and 39. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the EDSIEC supervisor for ward 10, units 13, Ologbo Duke Dom, Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Mr. David Sakpere  states that the unit 13 has the highest registered voters 2, 317 adding that he has deftly dispatched electoral material to units 16-32 at the riverine areas for effective conducting the exercise. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline All Progressives Congress (APC) councillorship candidate Otumara Gbemisi Duke states that the Edo State Local Government Election at ward 10, unit 13 is absolutely credible and peaceful as electorate turned out comparatively in large numbers. He said that election should not be a do or die affairs that God himself empowers people for leadership positions adding that he will accept the outcomes of the poll in good faith. At the end of the exercise, PDP won ward 10, unit 13 and all the units at Ohen Primary School, Ologbo with landslide victory.
