EDUCATIONAL NEWS NO ONE IS A FOLLOWER, WE ARE ALL LEADERS ….. BANIRE

Speaking to the gathering at the Education Hall of the University of Lagos, Akoka Yaba Lagos the lead speaker Banire Olayinka Sharafa states that no one is a follower, and that all and sundry are leaders adding that a leader should kindly back every atom of God’s backing. Further he says that the theme stipulates “ELEVATING LEADERS PREPARE FOR UNCERTAINTY” BUILDING RESILIENCE LEADERSHIP ROLES. He categorically informs the audience that leaders should possess good content of character, integrity, discipline and industry. 

He states that the participants should outline their major achievements since they were born into this planet earth adding that they should critically check up their successes from crèche, primary school, secondary school and now that they are under graduates of the University of Lagos.  He states that leaders should possess intelligence all round above the board, social intelligence adding that leadership discussion should begin from the grass root thereby ethical values, character, growth, humanity where heavily assistance are rendered to people at any given time.  He says that leaders should read regularly to be above board for intelligent quotient for the purposes of adding values to themselves and as well as getting the blessings of God Almighty Father.

He says that there are positive emotional intelligent adding that at the point of success there is always hindrance.  He says that making wealth is through social quotient adding that one should relate with quality personages and also he added that the whole reasons of getting contacts are purely for uncommon support.  He says that adversity must definitely appear on the ladder of progress, but, such adversities should be handled by turning to the creator in heavens. 

He states that any contact(s) that cannot support the participants that such contact(s) should be disregarded adding that they have covered all the 25 LGAS and 37 LCDAS in Lagos State and as well as making frantic efforts to reach out to all 36 states of the republic.  He said that they have affected about 1,000 widows and some students of University of Lagos that were not able to pay their school fees adding that he is very close to the Vice Chancellor Mrs. Folashade Ogunsola.  

He says that a good leader produces leaders alongside and those produced leaders should also be able to produce other crops of leaders for continued success within the system.  He states that the policy cannot cover everything but, that policy can cover lots of applications adding that the issues of crimes and school drop outs started with the issue of parenting because the foundation is very faulty-which is the issues of parenting that is the reason why the republic is where she is today.

He says tha he organized a session some years back and when the results of JAMB and WAEC are critically look at, adding that he told his audience that the difference between public schools and private schools is the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) THAT THE PTA intensify more efforts in following up, but, very sadly the public schools do not have such organ.  He says that he is quite sure if the public schools are properly supervised that there will be lesser crimes and drop outs of school age children.  

He says that there has to be humanity and empathy before success could be proclaimed and because if these factors are not applicable, it therefore means zero.  He says that he told the Governor of Lagos state Mr. Babajide Sanwo-olu that his foundation gives out WAEC forms to 36,000 students in the state free adding that empathy is networking one’s heart to Almighty God because whatever successes one achieves there are directly from God Himself.  

Speaking with iconblezemagazineonline Abiola Lasendi the Convener of the Chief Information Awards and the founder of CIO Club Africa, that they basically try it eco-system to embrace the digital transformation for Africa.  She says that they want do technology for digital transformation of Africa, for Africa and by Africa adducing that this is their mandate. She says that those that are already in value chains, that they need to project the value more, adding that she thinks that they are not doing enough concurring that they had summit where they brought some Chana nationals and they already know how to apply the MOMO MTN freely and the value proposition has to be enhanced heavily in the republic.  

She says that all people think about one MTN 5G applications which are not easily digestible for everyday use adding that they need to do more by telling people that to do regularly and she also added that there has to cyber cleanliness of how people use their phones, how to do two ways verifications on Whats-App because people are still been hacked and still received message that so and so persons are link the hospitals and by so doing lots of persons have been defrauded.  

She says that it is like 80 and 20 principles and the 20 percent that have great deal of knowledge of IT eco-system should gladly teach the 80% remaining on how to go about it basic tools.  She says that they need to do more teaching the people by doing to radio station announcement, speaking native dialects like Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo and as well as the school curriculum from primary schools, secondary schools and higher institutions adding that there should be technology advocacy around instructing about IT eco-system usage of digital transformation modules into the school curriculum.  She says that the children of nowadays are trying because they have the capacity of handling the system adding that sometimes her own children puts her through with some applications.  She says that one they taught her once or twice she herself picks it up from that level adding that they need to inculcating morals, values, mores, standards into the things they do.

 

Speaking with iconblazemagazine online the convener of evenevent MR. Ojo Oluwatosin, on Economic Undergraduate of the University of Lagos States that this is their 9^th year of organizing the event and as well as bringing in erudite scholars to speak on a carefully selected themes adding that the present Chief of Staff to Governor Sanwo-Olu Mr. Taiyo Ayinde is their patron.  And, of a truth he says that the Chief of Staff Ayinde has uncommonly supported them in all ramifications.  He says that by the grace of God of Prophets and Apostles that 2024 shall be their 10^th anniversary which they have already started making plans of how to host.
