Milestones Ezinne Mordi Celebrates Four Scores, Seven With Thanksgiving in a Grand Style

Ezinne Joy Anwunika Mordi has pleasantly and uncommonly celebrated her birthday of Four scores and Seven with Thanksgivings to the God of Prophet and Apostles in a grand style at St. Stephens Anglian Church, Igbobi, Diocese of Lagos Mainland, Lagos. The 87^th Birthday celebration of Ezinne Mordi is righteously officiated by the Vicar of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Igbobi, Diocese of Lagos Mainland, Lagos Venerable Dr. Emeka Onwuakpa alongside with other clergy brothers from different parishes.  

The Vicar, Venerable Dr. Onwuakpa of a truth lifted his voice in prayers and thanksgivings on behalf of Ezinne  Mordi, her husband Pa Mordi, her children, grandchildren relatives who graced the uncommon celebration.  The ground breaking ceremony of the 87^th Birthday Thanksgivings celebration is when Ezinne Mordi and the parishioners danced to the altar with hearts full of thanks, appreciations, acknowledgement of the surpassing happiness, Joys, peace, love, sound mind et’al and Ezinne  gracefully provided a huge ram, bag of rice, cartons of communion wine, cartons of Nirvana table water, large tubers of yam et’al to acknowledge the God of creations for all the good things she has heavily bestowed with in the last 87 years of her existence on planet earth.

The Vicar, Venerable Dr. Onwuakpa prayed for her and all persons connected to her loins.  Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Mr. Chukwudi  Mordi who flew in from Scotland to celebrate with his siblings as the eldest son states that he is too overwhelmed to be physically around to rejoice with his dear mother Ezenne Mordi whom stood for him and his siblings at all times.  Speaking further, he states that his mother brought them up in the fear of God through going to church services and heavily participate at all church activities adding that his mother taught them how to memories Psalms 23 and 91.  

He generally prays and wishes his mother more fruitful years ahead and as well as he prayed for his father and his siblings for God’s protection.  Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Chukwuemeka Mordi the last son of Ezinne Mordi uncommonly showered encomiums at his mother for the right upbringing she and his father handed down to them as they were growing up as babies.  He states that he wishes God to continually be all round available for his mother while his father should continue to love his mother with the same degree of love they both shared many decades ago.  Chukwuemeka Mordi is a Masters degree scholar at Strathciyde Um.

Speaking with iconblaemagazineonline at his office Venerable Dr. Onwuakpa states that  Ezinne Mordi is a special breed and role  model to be emulated by all and sundry because she is always ready to work for her creator through the activities of the church.  He states that Ezinne Mordi is always punctual at all church programs and that she supports the works of God with her resources.  He generally prays and wishes Ezinne Mordi all the good things of life for God Himself to bless her with.  Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline the honourable Chairman of the occasion for the admirable reception in honour of Ezinne Mordi, Mr. Ugochkwu Ehighibe states that Ezinne Mordi wedded at the St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Igbobi many decades ago, That she had her children in the church.  

That she has witnessed the growth of the church to enviable heights.  That she is always available when ever the need arises to support the church with her resources.  That she should be emulated by all the women and even men in the parish because she is very supportive in all church activities.  The chairman says that he generally prays and wishes her to celebrate 90, 95, 100 et’al in good health and sound mind.

Seeking with iconblazemagazineonline Mr. Godwin Nwafor Mordi states that he is the head of Mordis both at home and in the diaspora to grace the 87^th birthday of Ezinne Mordi adding that his younger sibling  Ben Mordi who resides in Warri, Delta State should have attended the event, but, that owing to some reasons beyond his control, he could not make it.  Speaking further, he states that he was a little lad when his uncle Pa Mordi consummates his nuptial streaks to Ezenne Mordi, although, he says that he could write douwn his name or spell it.  

He adds that Ezinne was a great educationist who had counselled and mentored  lots of persons.  He adds that his uncle Pa. Mordi was the very first graduate from their community Isho in Ubulu-Uku Kingdom, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State.  He adds that his uncle Pa Mordi graduated from university of Ibadan, Oyo State in the Early 1970s.  he adds that his uncle Pa Mordi did study Political Science and that it was at that era a fresh graduates were offered a lucrative jobs, with a 3 bed room apartment and as well as brandnew VON Wagon.  

He adds that when he married his spouse at Ikorodu some time ago that his uncle and Ezinne  Mordi stood in for him as his parents so that the void of his late parents was adequately filled.  He adds that he is in good and healthy relationship with his cousins Chukwudi and Chukwuemeka Mordi and they all parley very well for the good of Mordi’s.  He adds that his uncle was involved in politics during the second republic of late Alhaji Shehu Shagari administration of between 1979 to 1983 December 31^st and as a retiree God is blessing him on daily basis.

He adds that he wishes Ezinne Mordi many happy returns of long life and all that.  Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Mr. Peter Ejiofor of Ethnos Cyber Security outfit states that he is elated, excited for her because she is now my mother that I know because she was the younger sibling of my mother who has passed on now adding that her celebration of 87^th birthday is a blessing tp them because they have an elderly person that they can run to whenever the need arises for counselling and mentoring.  Speaking again he says that he feels joy that they have an elderly person they can relate to whenever the occasion demands it and that his mother is happy to witness this day herself as so many persons have trouped out massively to celebrate with her.  

Speaking further, he says that they have taken some measures to ensure that she is well looked after health wise adding that there is a medical plan that have been put in place to support her health and he also adds that she has the opportunity to travel abroad to seek for medical attention whenever the need arises.  He states that they are particularly wishing to see her live longer with good health and  heavy frame of sound reasoning. Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Pastor Sunday Bright of Christ Chosen Church and also a brother –in-law to the Mordis states that he is actually gladdened for Ezinne Mordi to celebrate this great old age of 87 years adding that he is wishing Ezinne Mordi to witness more fruitful years of good health and sound mind of body and soul as she continues to be in the fellowship with God and humanity.  

Speaking with iconblazemagazineonline Mr. Olatunde Fayemi an ile-Ife man from Osun State who married from Ubulu-Uku kingdom a daughter of Ezinne Mordi stated that he and his spouse are also joining the teeming uncommon persons wishing Ezinne Mordi 87 cups of hot black coffee of many happy returns to the glory of God.

Francis Okonkwo rendered a special birthday song to honour his Mother Ezinne Mordi and the celebrant herself broke forth with songs of praises and adorations to her creator Lord Jesus Christ the Son of David of Jesse.
