News Extra CIG HONOURS O’JEZ LOUNGE MD/CEO AS HER PATRON WITH AWARDS

 The leadership of Creative Industry Group CIG has pleasantly and uncommonly Honoured O’Jes Lunge Managing Director Chief Executive Officer MD/CEO Mr. Joseph Odobeatu as her patron with awards as an unimaginable Philanthropist par excellence.  In presenting the said awards to him, the President of Creative Industry Group (CIG) Felix Duke tells the audience how much the awardee has been extremely useful to them whenever the need arises adding that the hall that hosted the Drug Abuse Conference, say no to drugs is offered free of charge to them by the large hearted awardee Odobeatu. And again the representative of First Lady of Lagos State Dr. Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-olu, Dr. Omowunmi Bakare a Public Health Physician and Past president of Women Medical Doctors Association Lagos State Chapter with the President of CIG Duke did present the prestigious award to the MD/CEO of O/Jez Lunge, National Stadium, Surelere, Lagos.

Speaking to the gathering with her remarks the First Lady of Lagos State the spouse of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Lagos state Mr. Babajide Sanwo olu through her representative Dr. Bakare clearly and loudly informed the audience that drugs Abuse is seriously dangerous to the users adding that Drugs Abuse has actually damaged many young persons lives because of the dangerous effects associated with hard drugs.  Speaking further, she states that the students of Ajigbeda Girls Junior High School, Ajigbeda Girls Senior High school, Surulere Lagos and the students of Stadium Junior High School Surulere, Lagos should never think of indulging themselves into taking hard drugs as a means of pretending to belong to the class of big boys and girls.  

She generally advised them that as a grand mother that she is righteously guiding and guarding them with the fear of God, of Prophets and Apostles to completely stay away from all sorts of hard drugs that are easily prone to destroy their future just like that adding that there are so many lucrative professions around that will usher them into profitable and fruitful future.  Speaking again she states that the Logos State government through the office of the First Lady Dr. (Mrs. Sanwo-olu is so passionate to constantly have all importance channels to reaching the students of Lagos State through the education districts so that adequate and healthy communications shall always passed down to the students, teachers and parents.

She generally counselled the participants that drug abuse is actually dangerous to the users and the Republic at large.  Speaking to the gathering the Presidents of Creative Industry Group (CIG) states that they are majorly keen of empowering and training practitioners in the creative industry  adding that they celebrate practitioners of creative industries who have heavily impacted the society with their God given talents et’al.  he states that they celebrate these PR actioners every last Friday of the month adding that they have positively gone to Port Harcourt Rivers state to celebrate overlaria of Chief Zebudiah television series of the 70.s, 80s and 90s adding that she is about 86 years old.

He adds that they have celebrated the formar PMAN Chairman Chief Tony Okoroji and the Governor of Collisuim Daddy Ken.  He adds that none of these great role models ever involved themselves into hard drugs.  That they spectacularly performed extremely good with the graces of God not with enhancement from the usages of drugs Abuse.  He generally reminded the students that they should know that they have a bright future ahead of them and therefore, they should not use their hands to destroy their destines by themselves.  

The President of CIG Duke was the singer of goodie goodie tunes of yester years who never involved himself into using hard drugs while he performed on the stage. Speaking to the participants Zeb Ejiro a legendary Nollywood Movie Producer narrated that he grew up in Ajegunle city where all bad vices still exist up to date adding that there was a day he wanted to play the role of big boy before his girlfriend and he went to their usual joint where he and his peers hung out.  That fateful day he joined his peers to smoke marijuana and that because he was not experienced as he inhaled the smoke, that he swallowed up his while his peers discharged theirs out.  He says that in less than five minutes he began to scream hold me hold me and he never knew what went wrong with him, that his peers brought garri for him to soak.  That he soaked the garri like someone who is insane.  

He tells the gathering that he took a hard decision never to smoke Indian hemp and as well as not to associate himself with those peers of his again.  He adds that some of those of his peers were caught in the armed robbery cases and they were shot publicly by firing squad.  He sends strong advocacy to the governor of Lagos state Sanwoolu to largely key into the noble roles  the CIG is playing to make sure the leaders of tomorrow are properly raised with good values, norms moreg, morals et’al.

Speaking to the gathering Pupa Oris wiliki added his voice in counselling the students to stay away from drugs abuse because it is really not good for them and all and sundry.  He wrapped up his remarks with a farmer that has rat, cock, pig and cow. And one day the rat told others that their master has bought trap to kill her, but, the cock, pig and cow did not see any danger at rat information.  One day the farmer took ill and he needed the cock for sacrifice and as he did not get well, the pig was needed for more sacrifice and finally the farmer died and his children used the cow to celebrate his funeral ceremonies and the rat is still alive and the whole stories meant to show love to one another at all times.  

Speaking to the audience the National President of Association of Movie Producers (AMP) Amb. Queen Blessing Ebigieson states that she as a single parent has one son who will be 18 years in March 2024 and that she has three adopted daughters.  She says that she has been mindful of the kind of friends her son associate with because she does not want her son to be misled by his peers into taking hard drugs.  She says that her son went to military high school where proper discipline and industry will be instilled into him.  She says that the instructors at the military school have praised her for the ways her son behaves because the school authority expels any students(s) that is not towing to the norms and laid down rules of the school.  

She says that her own mother did instill discipline into her and her siblings while growing up.  She says that parents are tp be held accountable for the ways and manner children or students behave.  That parents should adequately raise their children with good norms, mores, morals, values et’al so that their children should not fall into wrong peers that will dangerously introduce them into hard drugs.  She says that parents should not  be in competition with anybody that all and sundry should be okay with whatever God have given out to different individuals.  She generally advices the students to always relate with their parents and also they should ask questions from both their parents and teachers  She commends the organizers of the one day conference on Drugs Abuse. 

Speaking with iconblazmagazineonline the Co-founder GIA Africa Foundation, Co-founder Africa Women Impact Submit Dr. Utchay Odins states that drugs abuse are seriously dangerous to the users because the users are gradually destroying their destinies without knowing what damages they are doing to themselves negatively.  He says that he wishes to travel out of town today, but, Duke called him he promised to attend the conference adding that he is so passionate to see how the larger society can curb the meanies of drug abuse.  He adds that no one gives what he or she does not have.  He adds that if drug is what is really full in a user, that all the user will also give out is drugs.  He says that he wanted to give heavy diagnosis of impact of drug abuse.  He says that drug abuse is something dangerous and lots of people see it beyond the physical and he says that there are couple of things that can remove one from natural realm to spiritual.  He says that Nigeria is big in prayers because everyone prays.  

He says that prayers and worship can take one to God, to the realm of the spirit.  He says that drugs can take people out of the spiritual realm.  He says that spirit or alcohol can take one out of spirit.  He says that there is no vacuum in the realm of the spirit.  He says that there is a real one get that it is God himself will anoint one or Lucifer.  He says that young people taking hard drugs do not know what they are doing to themselves.  He says that he has seen young people on drugs and very sadly some of them cannot coordinate.  They can hardly coordinate for two minutes because their brains are distorted.  

He says that most people on hard drugs can short or kill carelessly.  He says that those on hard drugs can actually jump the fence without knowing that they have jumped the fence.  He said that hard drugs destroy the mental faculties of the users. He submits that young people should stay away from drugs.  He submits again that no one can achieve the destining God have given he or she by the use of hard drugs.  He stated that the dangers of drugs abuse in Nigeria is something else adding that he was driving along Lekki where he lives and he say a boy of about 16 years old and the unfortunate boy fell into the gutter without knowing what exactly that had happened to hime because he was walking like zombies.

Speaking to the gathering the chairman of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA the former Military Administrator of Lagos state Brig. General Buba Mohammed Marawa who is represented by a commander of Narcotics and Director Mrs. Rita Okpere Rendered unreserved apologies on behalf of the chairman of NDLEA Brig.

General Marawa who would have attended the CIG Drug Abuse Conference but because of other state functions he could not make it.  He states that all hands should be on deck to fight the drugs abuse menace so as to save the nation from heavy jeopardies in the future adding that the use of hard drugs by young people is dangerously damaging the Psyche of the users.  He pragmatically states that indulging in the habit of taking hard drugs is really destroying the users and the image of the nation at large.
