NEWS EXTRA HE RT. HON / COMRADE SHAIBU COMMISSIONS THE WALL OF FAME OF NMA EDO STATE BRANCH

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Comrade. Philip Shaibu, the Deputy Governor of Edo State Commissions the WALL OF FAME of The Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State Branch. The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), Edo State Branch has hosted her maiden remarkable Award Ceremony to honour exceptional Medical Professionals, and Respectable Noble Members of the society into their prestigious Wall of Fame.
This Event is put together by the Chairmen of the Local Organising Committee, Drs. Ehondor Ogie Tada and Adewole Afolabi.

The event took place at the Doctors house on the 20th of December 2023 and is graced by the presence of Distinguished Politicians, Medical Elders, and various Esteemed Guests.


The Award Ceremony witnessed an enthralling performances by a live dance band, electrifying the atmosphere with their enchanting melodies. In a display of extraordinary talents by, Dr Adewole Afolabi - Head of Department, Family Medicine, UBTH (Keyboardist) and Dr Omoruyi Aibieyi - Senior Registrar/Chief Resident, Department of Chemical Pathology, UBTH (Drummer), demonstrated their prowess by skillfully playing the keyboard and drums, captivating the audience and adding a unique touch to the event. The highlight of the evening was the unveiling and Commissioning of the Edo NMA Wall of Fame, by His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt. Hon. Comrade Shaibu, ably represented by his lovely Wife, Mrs Mariam Shaibu.
The Edo NMA Wall of Fame, is meticulously crafted with professional paintings and enchanting glowing lights. This elegant display will forever honor the accomplished Medical Professionals and noble supporters of Doctors in Edo State, their photos hung on the corridor of Edo NMA, providing a source of inspiration for all who will ever tread the ground of Edo NMA and the Doctors House.

*Apostle Johnson Suleman, a renowned philanthropist and  televangelist  is applauded and honoured in a remarkable way for his various humanitarian streaks and for pledging to a team of executives to  donate  a state-of-the-art conference hall to the Edo NMA adding that when this grand hall is completed it shall boast a seating capacity of one thousand peoples enabling all  doctors in the state to host large  conferences, social events, seminars, and workshops to foster knowledge sharing and  advancement in the medical fields.

The Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State Branch, expresses profound gratitudes to Apostle (Prof.) Suleman for his commendable contributions, which will undoubtedly facilitate and enhance the endeavors of medical professionals in the state.

The Nigerian Medical Association, Edo State Chapter, is a prominent professional body representing medical practitioners in Edo State which is dedicated to improving healthcare delivery, promoting professional excellence, and advocating for the welfare of its members, NMA Edo State Branch plays a vital role in advancing the medical profession in the region.
