EXCLUSIVE POLITICS OLUCHI, THE NATIONAL TREASURER OF LABOUR PARTY (LP) HAS SEVERAL QUESTIONS TO ANSWER---COMRADE OGBALIOL

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline at his office of Ogbelaka Quarters of Benin City, the Labour Party (LP) Chairman, Edo State Comrade Kelly Ogbaliol clearly and critically states that Oluchi, the National Treasurer of Labour Party (LP) has several questions to answer as regards the public outcries she has wrongly levelled at the National Chairman of Labour Party (LP) Barr. Julius Aburu of embezzling N3.5 billon meant for the Labour Party. 

Speaking further Comrade Ogbaliol states that he is not going to discuss the issues of the National Chairman, Barr. Aburu took money or not adding that he would like to do a brief enlightment of an accounting of an organization like a political party or otherwise should run. Speaking further Comrade Ogbaliol states that Oluchi as the national treasurer has a responsibility which she did run and that she is the one to collect all monies that came to Labour Party and she is also the one to lodge the monies into the account of Labour Party which the constitution makes her a signatory to the account and the questions are upon what time did she discover that monies were leaving the account upon which she sat and so, the N3.56 did it walk into the account in a single payment or in batches,  upon which she received the monies into the account.

Did National Chairman sign the cheques into the account alone and if she permitted the National Chairman to sign cheques alone, why did she allow it and today we are asking Oluchi to account for the monies instead of the National Chairman because the party has placed the treasury into her hands, so, she cannot come out to cry fowl to the party and the general public. 

Speaking again, Comrade Ogbaliol states that Oluchi is not firstly professionally responsible to run the account of the party successfully adding that this is why they are in the mess. He adds that  this is not an issue of the National Chairman rather the National Chairman runs with National Working Committee (NWC) so, could he would have withdrawn all these monies  without the knowledge of all members who are credibly in all ramifications, or are they all sleeping when he withdrew N3.5 billion. 

He adds that when did the National Chairman begin to withdraw all these monies yesterday, today or at the time Oluchi is talking to press. He adds that these are funds contributed for the campaigns of PO Mr. Peter Obi when he ran for the presidential elections. He adds that Mr. Obi a fine gentleman cannot watch the National Chairman withdraw such monies without proper clearances. He adds that Oluchi is drowning because her tenure is almost over, so, she is thinking that this is the last thing she would do with the oppositions. Comrade Ogbaliol states that as at today nobody can remove Oluchi from the sweet pies the opposition has fed her with adding that he finds no merit in the person of Oluchi a principal National Officer of the party to come to the public space and cry wolf, where there is no wolves that the National Chairman has stolen, the party is asking her where was she when all of these took place. 

Oluchi has to provide answers to all these questions pointed at her as National Treasurer not the National Chairman who is not invested with the running of the treasury of the party. Comrade Ogbaliol states that Oluchi should as a matter of facts present all the accounting books she has been using since the tenure of Late Labour Party (LP) National Chairman Alhaji Salam (Bradin Paiko) and this present tenure adding that there would NEC meeting where all the 36 states Chairmen of Labour Party will pragmatically and assiduously ask her for proper accounting records of the treasury. Comrade Ogbaliol states that Barr. Olumide Akpata one of the leading aspirants of LP for the governorship bid is never queried by the leadership of LP when the unfortunate protest did take place recently adding that those behind the ugly happenstance have been nabbed by the cops. He adds that LP has moved on with her pragmatic streaks of ensuring good governance for all and sundry. 

He adds that anyone is free to resign from his or her aspirations, if the person so feel to do so. He adds that the N30,000, 000 fees for the collection of expression of interest is one of the means she generates  revenues to run the party activities such as overhead costs et’al. He adds that the legal battles she went through during the National Assembly and Presidential Eection at the tribunal that monies were expended. 

Comrade Ogbaliol queried that if LP does not sell her nomination forms, how will she generate resources to function optimally as a leading political party in the republic adding that any aspirant who feels otherwise, should have objectively approached the leadership of LP for effective parley. Comrade Ogbaliol states that some of the aspirant are going about peddling fallacies at LP for undue processes, which does not exist anywhere near the LP that started from nothing, but, now she has turned out 100% sweet bride that every male wishes to spend the rest of their lives with her.
