NEWS EXTRA BUILDING 21ST CENTURY WOMEN IN ALL RAMIFICATIONS OF LIFE-AMB DR. AMANGBO

Speaking as the lead speaker to the gathering at the celebration of International Women’s Day Conference 2024 at Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 2nd floor (LCCI), ALausa, Ikeja, Lagos State. Amb. Dr. Roseline Adedoyin Amangbo through a representative Adenike Dada states that building a 21st century women in all ramifications is aptly necessary because women generally have made inestimable contributions to the development and advancement of the society. 

Speaking further, she states that the theme “Building A 21st Century Women in Every Ramification of Life” adding that women of the 21st century endure many changes and challenges than the historical women of the past centuries. She adds that these changes encourage the women of the 21st century to be more flexible and versatile along with increasing their endurance and their stress levels. 

She adds that 21st century is an era of science and technology whereby in the field of science and technology they can see constant growth. She adds again that there is advancement in every field whereby they have developed advanced missiles, nuclear power, machines and techniques. 

Dada speaking on behalf of Amb. Dr. Amangbo says that the roles of women in the 21st century have largely changed adding that they are no more restricted to cooking, washing clothes, doing household works and as well as looking after their children and family and completely making babies. She adduces that today women are leading in every field and society whether be it sports, commerce, industry, education, health, politics, technology, navy, army, agriculture. 

She adduces again that due to advancement in the field of science and technology and heavy active involvement of women in these areas, they have been able to overcome the evils of the society were prevalent in the religion, caste and territory and is a danger to the world peace. She submits that people are making maximum utilization of available resources for their well being and the generations yet unborn. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline the President and Founder of Reading Awareness for the Development of Africa and as well as the Former First Lady of Oyo State, Mrs Bokuola Ladoja states that she was one time a practicing Journalist adding that the female Journalists face heavy challenges in their offices and as well as covering assignments for their organization. 

Speaking further she states that men are always in the habit to take advantages of female Journalists adding that for the little period she worked as a Journalist that she was extremely careful with her carriage. She adds that she was able to balance her work and family. She submits that women have uncommon roles to play in raising their children to be problems solvers. She concurs that every woman has a pragmatic duty in telling the truth to their children at all times. 

She adds that everyone has to change his or herself because as change agent, the real change should start from all and sundry. She again agrees that all hands should be on deck to correct whatever wrong things the citizenry are going through now. She concurs that the 21st century women should not be waiting for their spouses to provide all that the home front need. 

She generally advised the 21st century women to be forward looking and explore all avenues for their well being and the society. Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, the Convener of International Women’s Day Conference 2024 Princess Lilian Odumosu who also doubles as the President of Women in Media states that the whole essence of IWD Conference 2024 is pragmatically and assiduously to mark the International Women’s Day which original theme is “Breaking Barriers, Empowering Women and Girls with Disabilities. 

She states that the event is an opportunity for women and most especially women journalists to celebrate themselves globally adding that women globally are striving extremely hard to survive life. She states that Journalism is a thankless job where reporters are not appreciated for the extra miles jobs they do adding that for these reasons drums are rolled out to acknowledge and celebrate the women in the media. 

She states this year theme is “Building a 21st Century Women in Every Ramification” adding that they need to be further educated by pundits who have lots of experiences and she added that it must not be all gathering news for publication rather the event has afforded ample time for further trainings, et’al. Speaking further, Princess Odumosu states that apart from being involved in journalism that she is also heavily involved in the good works displaying love of humanitarian streaks to the less privileged of the society adding that women in media has come out to celebrate International Women’s Day in a grand style where general lectures have been delivered by the pundits to the participants. 

Speaking with Iconblazemagazineonline, The Head Communications Nigeria Breweries PLC, Ayodele Alabi states that her organization is heavily in supportive of Women’s issues adding that both men and women are consumers of Brewery products. She states that women’s of Nigeria are extremely hard working personages who should be encouraged by the present day government. 

She largely encouraged all women to be hard working at all times adding that hard work rewards uncommonly. She concurs that Nigeria women are goal getters regardless the terrain they found themselves, hence, they should be celebrated by all and sundry. Speaking to the audience with his presentations on drugs abuse the Founder/President Silec Initiatives “Empowering the Future Amb”. Sunny Irakpo uncommonly spent a great deal of time elucidating the ugly effects of drugs abuse amongst the citizenry. 

He did give a graphic description of how a single child from a civil servant mother got himself into drugs, adding that his involvement into drugs caused his mother all her savings because the mother was buying drugs to treat her son. He generally advised all participants to shy away from drugs abuse. He sadly stated that women use their private parts to conceal drugs which is largely evil to humanity. 

Speaking to the audience about the Nature Gentle Touch, the Human Resource and Administration Manager, Joy Ebu elucidated clearly how their products are being used by clients adding that their hairs products are affordable so that the users should always look clean, fresh and sweet.
